It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The delay of a wealthy person (in repaying a debt) is injustice, and when you are referred to a wealthy person, then follow him and take your debt from him, and it is not permissible to conduct two sales in one transaction."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you go to sleep, do not leave fire burning in your houses, for it is an enemy."

Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that I saw the spoils of war being divided into five portions, and I also saw a share being allocated from it. The portion that belonged to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was at his discretion.

Zaid bin Aslam (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a man asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the sale in auction. He replied that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that a person should sell over his brother’s sale, except in the case of spoils of war or inherited property.

Abdullah bin Shaqiq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the night prayer, so he replied that once a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the night prayer while I was between the two of them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You should pray two rak‘ahs at a time, and when you fear that morning is near, then add one rak‘ah to those two, and pray two rak‘ahs before the Fajr prayer."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man performed li'an (mutual cursing) with his wife in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and denied the attribution of the child to himself. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) separated the two and handed the child over to the mother.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ramal from the Black Stone to the Black Stone.

Wasi' bin Hibban (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about how the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) mentioned saying takbeer every time he bowed and raised his head, and he mentioned «السلام عليكم ورحمته الله» on the right side and «السلام عليكم» on the left side.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to come to the Quba Mosque both on foot and riding.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Enter the lands of the punished nations weeping; if you are not able to weep, then do not go there, for I fear that the same punishment that befell them may befall you as well."
