It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Fasting is a shield. When any one of you is fasting, he should not indulge in any indecent or ignorant talk. If someone wants to fight or abuse him, he should simply say: I am fasting.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that we were with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) on the occasion of Hajj or Umrah when a swarm of locusts appeared on the way. We started striking them with our whips and sticks, and they began to fall one by one in front of us. We thought, since we are in the state of Ihram, what should we do about them? Then we asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: There is no harm in hunting from the sea.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever withdraws from obedience to the leader and separates from the community and dies in that state, his death is a death of ignorance (Jahiliyyah). And whoever rises against my Ummah, striking the righteous and the wicked alike, showing no regard for the believer, and does not fulfill his covenant with those with whom he has made a pact, then he is not of my Ummah. And whoever fights under a banner out of blind following (nationalistic or linguistic), becomes angry for that cause, fights for that cause, and supports that cause, and is killed, then his death is like the death of ignorance (Jahiliyyah).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Near the Day of Judgment) the water of the Euphrates River will recede, uncovering a mountain of gold from beneath it.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a wolf came to a flock of sheep and took away a sheep from there and ran off. The shepherd chased after it and rescued the sheep from it. The wolf climbed onto a mound and, rolling over, said, "You have snatched from me the sustenance that Allah had given me?" The man, astonished, said, "By Allah, I have never seen a day like this before, that a wolf is speaking!" Hearing this, the wolf said, "Even more astonishing than this is that between two rocky areas, among the trees, there is a man who is telling you news of the past and events of the future." That shepherd was a Jew. He came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and accepted Islam. Then he narrated the whole incident to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) declared him truthful and said, "This is one of the signs of the nearness of the Hour. Soon a man will leave his house, and when he returns, his shoes and whip will inform him of what his family did behind his back."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you hear the crowing of a rooster at night, remember that it has seen an angel, so at that time ask Allah for His bounty. It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs ablution and does it thoroughly and with complete care, then comes to the mosque with the sole purpose of offering prayer, Allah Almighty becomes as pleased with him as the family of a traveler is pleased upon his arrival home.
