It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that my beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) advised me regarding three things and forbade me from three things. The advice was: (1) to perform Witr prayer before sleeping, (2) to fast three days in every month, (3) and to perform two units of Duha (forenoon) prayer. And the prohibition was: from looking around to the right and left in prayer, sitting like a dog, and pecking like a rooster.

It is narrated marfu‘an from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Allah Almighty likes that the effects of His blessings be seen upon His servant.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is better for any one of you to sit on a burning coal that burns his clothes and reaches his skin than to sit on a grave.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever names himself after my name should not adopt my kunya, and whoever adopts my kunya should not take my name.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), in the explanation of the Divine command "Enter the gate prostrating" , said that the Children of Israel were told to enter the city dragging themselves on their buttocks and to say "Hittah" (O Allah, forgive us), but they changed this word and began to say "Hintah fi sha'eerah" (We want wheat with barley).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A good word is also charity, and every step you take towards the mosque is also charity.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called war a deception.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding Hazrat Khidr (peace be upon him) that he is called Khidr because when he sat on a white grassy patch, it turned green and started waving beneath him.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A man will be pledged allegiance to between the Black Stone and the Station of Ibrahim, and the sanctity of the House of Allah will be violated by its own guardians. When people violate the sanctity of the House of Allah, then do not ask about the destruction of the Arabs. Rather, the Abyssinians will come and they will destroy it in such a way that it will never be inhabited again, and these will be the people who will extract its treasure.

Hammam bin Munabbih, may Allah have mercy on him, says that these are the narrations which Hazrat Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated to us: The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Though we are the last to come, on the Day of Resurrection we will surpass everyone. The only difference is that every nation was given the Book before us, while we received the Book after them. Then, Friday was appointed for them by Allah, but they differed regarding it. So Allah guided us to it. Now, in this matter, people follow us. The Jews have the next day (Saturday), and the Christians have the day after that (Sunday)."
