Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Yazid narrates from his father that the Prophet (peace be upon him), while addressing during the Farewell Pilgrimage, said three times: Take care of your slaves; feed them what you eat, clothe them with what you wear. If they make a mistake which you cannot forgive, O servants of Allah, sell them, but do not punish them.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Rabiah that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was going for the Battle of Hunayn, he took thirty or forty thousand dirhams from him as a loan. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from the battle, he repaid that loan to him and said: May Allah send blessings upon your wealth and your family for you. The recompense for a loan is that it is repaid, and thanks should also be expressed.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Atik that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Whoever leaves his house with the intention of striving in the path of Allah, and he dies by falling from his mount, then his reward is guaranteed by Allah; or if something bites him and he dies, then his reward is guaranteed by Allah; or if he dies a natural death, then his reward is also guaranteed by Allah. By Allah, this is such a statement that I have not heard from anyone among the Arabs before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), that if he dies, then his reward is guaranteed by Allah. And whoever is killed by a disease that breaks the neck, then he has reached his destination.
