It is narrated from Hazrat Mujahid that when Hazrat Ibn Zubair resolved to demolish the House of Allah (the Ka'bah), we went out towards Mina for three days, waiting for the punishment.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: It is as if I am looking at a man from Abyssinia who will be bald, with small ears and thin shins, sitting near the Ka'bah, while the Ka'bah is being demolished.

It is narrated from Hazrat Salman bin Mina that he said: I heard Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) saying: When you see the Quraysh demolishing the House of Allah, then rebuilding it and adorning and decorating it, then if you are able to die, then die.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ata that he said: I was holding the reins of the mount of Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr when he said: What will be your condition when you demolish this house (i.e., the Kaaba), and you will not leave any stone upon another? His companions submitted and said: Will we be upon Islam? He replied: You will be upon Islam. I asked: Then what will happen? He said: Then it will be rebuilt better than before. When you see wells being dug in Mecca and you see buildings rising higher than the tops of the mountains, then know that the matter is near.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr that he said: Benefit from this house before it is raised high, for soon it will be raised high and will be brought down twice, and the third time it will be raised up.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Bishr that he said: A man came to Hazrat Abdullah and asked, "When will I be misguided?" Hazrat Abdullah replied, "When there are such rulers over you that if you obey them, they will misguide you, and if you disobey them, they will kill you."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Seek refuge with Allah from the beginning of the year seventy (Hijri) and from the leadership of children.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that he said: Destruction is for the Arabs from that evil which is near (and that is) the leadership of children. If people obey them, they will lead them into Hell, and if they disobey them, they will strike their necks.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit that he said: I wish for my friend that his wealth may decrease or that he may die soon. His companions said: We have not seen any lover wishing such a thing for his beloved. So he said: I fear that you will encounter such rulers that if you obey them, they will make you enter Hell, and if you disobey them, they will kill you. One person said: Tell us who they are, we will gouge out their eyes. Shu’bah says (these are the words) or we will throw dust on their faces. Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit said: It is near that you will encounter their era, then they will be the ones to gouge out your eyes and throw dust on your faces.

It is narrated from Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that there is not a single person who will not be afflicted by tribulation, except that I fear for him, except Muhammad bin Maslamah, because regarding him I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Tribulation will not harm you."
