It is narrated from Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Indeed, the last group of rebels to emerge in Islam will come out from the travelers’ inn of Kufa, Daskarah (which is built like a palace). People will join them; one third of them will be killed, one third will enter (a safe place), and one third will be besieged in a monastery. Marmari (which is near Samarra by the Wasf bridge) in the monastery, some of them will have white and black hair. People will besiege them and kill them (from the monastery, etc.) and they will be killed. This will be the last rebel army to emerge in Islam.

It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Nafi that he said: I asked Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), "With whom should I fight?" He replied, "Fight alongside those who fight for the sake of Allah, and do not fight alongside those who fight for this dinar (gold coin) and dirham (silver coin)."

It is narrated from Hazrat Mujahid that he said: "You will not see prosperity until four men attain kingship who will be from the back of one man (i.e., they will be the descendants of one person). When this happens, then prosperity is near (for you to see)."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar that he said: The very first land to be destroyed will be the land of Shaam.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Masood that he said: A people will come to you from the east who will have broad faces and small eyes, as if their eyes are made by carving holes in stone. Their faces will be like swollen shields, until they tie their horses on the banks of the Euphrates.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that he said: Destruction is for the people of Arabia because of an evil that has drawn near; it will soon be upon them. By God, that evil will reach them faster than a swift, thin-bodied horse. It will be a blind, unknown tribulation; a man will find himself in the morning upon one matter and by evening upon another. In it, the one sitting will be better than the one standing, and the one standing will be better than the one walking, and the one walking will be better than the one running. And if I were to tell you all that I know, you would cut my neck right here—and he moved his neck with the edge of his palm. (Then he said:) O Allah, do not let Abu Huraira reach the time of the rule of children, and he raised both his hands until the backs of his hands faced the inner part of his palms.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that a time will come upon the people when women will find a shoe lying on the road, and they will say to each other that this shoe was once on someone's foot.

It is narrated from Hazrat Husain that Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila used to silence the people during the time of Jamajim (the battle during the era of Hajjaj).

Isa Sa'di narrates from the man who asked Abu al-Bakhtari about his residence where he was during the time of Jamajim. Abu al-Bakhtari wrote to him in reply: "Whoever wished, said whatever about us. If I had found a better condition than the one I was in, I would have chosen it."

It is narrated from Hazrat Alaa bin Abdul Kareem that Hazrat Talha bin Musarrif once heard me laughing, so he said: "You laugh like a person who was not present at the battle of Jamajim."
