حَدِيثُ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of al-Nu‘man ibn Bashir from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 18449
قال عبد الله حدثنا منصور بن ابي مزاحم ، حدثنا ابو وكيع الجراح بن مليح ، عن ابي عبد الرحمن ، عن الشعبي ، عن النعمان بن بشير ، قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على المنبر: " من لم يشكر القليل، لم يشكر الكثير، ومن لم يشكر الناس لم يشكر الله، التحدث بنعمة الله شكر، وتركها كفر، والجماعة رحمة، والفرقة عذاب" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once said from the pulpit: "He who does not thank for a little, does not thank for much. He who does not thank people, does not thank Allah. Mentioning the blessings and favors of Allah is gratitude; neglecting them is ingratitude. Unity is mercy and division is punishment."
حكم دارالسلام: قوله: من لم يشكر الناس لم يشكر الله ، صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، فيه أبو عبدالرحمن لم يعرف
Hadith Number: 18450
حدثنا يحيى بن عبد ربه مولى بني هاشم، حدثنا ابو وكيع ، عن ابي عبد الرحمن ، عن الشعبي ، عن النعمان بن بشير ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على هذه الاعواد، او على هذا المنبر: " من لم يشكر القليل، لم يشكر الكثير، ومن لم يشكر الناس، لم يشكر الله، والتحدث بنعمة الله شكر، وتركها كفر، والجماعة رحمة، والفرقة عذاب" . قال: فقال ابو امامة الباهلي: عليكم بالسواد الاعظم، قال: فقال رجل: ما السواد الاعظم؟ فقال ابو امامة: هذه الآية في سورة النور: فإن تولوا فإنما عليه ما حمل وعليكم ما حملتم سورة النور آية 54.
It is narrated from Hazrat Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once said from the pulpit: "He who does not thank for a little, does not thank for much. حكم دارالسلام: قوله: من لم يشكر الناس لم يشكر الله ، صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، فيه أبو عبدالرحمن لم يعرف، وعبد ربه غلط ، والصواب : عبدويه
Hadith Number: 18451
قال عبد الله حدثنا عبيد الله بن عمر القواريري ، حدثنا حماد يعني ابن زيد ، حدثنا حاجب بن المفضل يعني ابن المهلب ، عن ابيه ، عن النعمان بن بشير ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " قاربوا بين ابنائكم" . يعني: سووا بينهم.
It is narrated from Hazrat Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Be just among your children.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن
Hadith Number: 18452
قال عبد الله حدثنا إبراهيم بن الحسن الباهلي ، وعبيد الله القواريري ، ومحمد بن ابي بكر المقدمي ، قالوا: حدثنا حماد بن زيد ، عن حاجب بن المفضل بن المهلب ، عن ابيه ، انه سمع النعمان بن بشير يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " اعدلوا بين ابنائكم، اعدلوا بين ابنائكم، اعدلوا بين ابنائكم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Be just among your children.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن
حَدِيثُ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Usamah ibn Sharik (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 18453
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا المسعودي ، عن زياد بن علاقة ، عن اسامة بن شريك ، قال: اتيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وإذا " اصحابه كانما على رءوسهم الطير" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama bin Sharik (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I presented myself before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were sitting in such a manner as if birds were perched on their heads.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح
Hadith Number: 18454
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن زياد بن علاقة ، عن اسامة بن شريك ، قال: اتيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، واصحابه عنده، كانما على رءوسهم الطير، قال: فسلمت عليه، وقعدت، قال: فجاءت الاعراب، فسالوه فقالوا: يا رسول الله، نتداوى؟ قال:" نعم، تداووا، فإن الله لم يضع داء إلا وضع له دواء غير داء واحد الهرم" . قال وكان اسامة حين كبر يقول: هل ترون لي من دواء الآن؟! قال: وسالوه عن اشياء، هل علينا حرج في كذا وكذا. قال:" عباد الله، وضع الله الحرج إلا امرا اقترض امرا مسلما ظلما، فذلك حرج وهلك" . قالوا: ما خير ما اعطي الناس يا رسول الله؟ قال: " خلق حسن" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I presented myself in the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and there the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were sitting as if birds were perched on their heads. I also greeted the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and sat down. Meanwhile, some Bedouins came and asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "O Messenger of Allah! Can we seek medical treatment?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Yes! Seek treatment, for Allah Almighty has not created any disease without also creating its cure, except for one disease—old age." Because of this, Hazrat Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say to people in his old age: "Now, can you find any medicine for me?" Then those who had come asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about certain things: "Is there any harm for us in such-and-such things?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Servants of Allah! Allah has removed harm, except for the one who unjustly violates the honor of a Muslim, for this is a sin and leads to destruction." They asked: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! What is the best thing given to a human being?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Good character."
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح
Hadith Number: 18455
حدثنا ابن زياد يعني المطلب بن زياد ، حدثنا زياد بن علاقة ، عن اسامة بن شريك ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " تداووا عباد الله، فإن الله عز وجل لم ينزل داء إلا انزل معه شفاء، إلا الموت والهرم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O servants of Allah! Seek treatment, for Allah Almighty has not made any disease without also making its cure, except for one disease—old age.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن
Hadith Number: 18456
حدثنا مصعب بن سلام ، حدثنا الاجلح ، عن زياد بن علاقة ، عن اسامة بن شريك رجل من قومه، قال: جاء اعرابي إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: يا رسول الله، اي الناس خير؟ قال: " احسنهم خلقا" . ثم قال: يا رسول الله، انتداوى؟ قال: " تداووا، فإن الله لم ينزل داء إلا انزل له شفاء، علمه من علمه، وجهله من جهله" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a Bedouin came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "O Messenger of Allah! Can we seek medical treatment?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Yes! Do seek treatment, for Allah has not created any disease without also creating its cure. Whoever knows it, knows it, and whoever remains unaware, remains unaware." He then asked: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Who is the best among people?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "The one whose character is the best."
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف من أجل مصعب بن سلام
حَدِيثُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْمُصْطَلِقِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of ‘Amr ibn al-Harith ibn al-Mustaliq (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 18457
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا عيسى بن دينار ، عن ابيه ، عن عمرو بن الحارث بن المصطلق ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من احب ان يقرا القرآن غضا كما انزل، فليقراه على قراءة ابن ام عبد" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Harith, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever wishes to recite the Qur'an firmly in the manner in which it was revealed, he should recite the Holy Qur'an as Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, recites it.
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لجهالة دينار
Hadith Number: 18458
حدثنا عبد الرحمن ، عن سفيان ، وإسحاق يعني الازرق ، قال: حدثنا سفيان ، عن ابي إسحاق ، قال: سمعت عمرو بن الحارث، قال إسحاق: بن المصطلق، يقول: " ما ترك رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إلا سلاحه، وبغلة بيضاء، وارضا جعلها صدقة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umar bin Harith, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, left nothing in inheritance except his weapon, a white mule, and the land which he had given as charity.
