And it was narrated to us by Aswad ibn ‘Amir, who informed us: Isra’il, from Abu Ishaq, from Al-Bara’, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, performed ‘umrah in Dhu al-Qa‘dah, and he mentioned its meaning, and said:“That he should not bring weapons into Mecca nor expel any of its people.”

It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man was reciting Surah Al-Kahf, and there was an animal (a horse) tied in the house. Suddenly, it started to get restless. The man looked and saw a cloud or canopy that was covering him. He mentioned this to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O so-and-so! Keep reciting, for that was tranquility (sakinah) which descends at the time of the recitation of the Noble Qur’an."

It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the last complete surah to be revealed to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was Surah Bara’ah, and the last verse to be revealed was the last verse of Surah An-Nisa.

It is narrated from Hazrat Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reciting Surah Wat-Teen in one rak'ah of the Isha prayer. I have not heard anyone recite better than him.

It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty sends down mercy upon the people of the first row, and the angels continue to supplicate for mercy for them.

It is narrated from Hazrat Bara' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Umrah in the month of Dhu al-Qa'dah as well.

It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Hazrat Hassan bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him): Satirize the polytheists, Gabriel is with you.

It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty sends down mercy upon the people of the first row, and the angels continue to supplicate for mercy for them.

It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to do seven things and forbade us from seven things. Then, while mentioning the things he commanded, he mentioned visiting the sick, following the funeral, responding to a sneezer, replying to greetings, supporting the one who swears an oath, accepting invitations, and helping the oppressed. And the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from silver vessels, gold rings, istabraq, harir, and dibaj (all three are types of silk), red tablecloths, and silk-linen. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.

Narrated to us by Abu Dawud Umar ibn Sa'd, from Sufyan, similarly, but he did not mention in it: spreading the greeting of peace, and he said: He forbade us from (using) vessels of gold and silver.
