Musnad Ahmad
وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
And from the hadith of Samurah ibn Jundub about the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 20143
حدثنا عبدة ، حدثنا سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة ، قال:" نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن بيع الحيوان بالحيوان نسيئة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of an animal for another animal on credit.
حكم دارالسلام: حسن لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، الحسن لم يصرح بسماعه
Hadith Number: 20144
حدثنا ابو معاوية ، حدثنا ابو مالك الاشجعي ، عن نعيم بن ابي هند ، عن ابن سمرة بن جندب ، عن ابيه ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من قتل، فله السلب" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever kills a polytheist on the battlefield, his equipment will belong to him.
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لإبهام ابن سمرة، فإن كان هو سليمان فهو مجهول الحال، وإن كان سعد فهو ثقة
Hadith Number: 20145
حدثنا ابو معاوية ، حدثنا الحجاج ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة بن جندب ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " اقتلوا شيوخ المشركين، واستحيوا شرخهم" , قال عبد الله: سالت ابي عن تفسير هذا الحديث:" اقتلوا شيوخ المشركين" قال: يقول: الشيخ لا يكاد ان يسلم، والشاب، اي يسلم، كانه اقرب إلى الإسلام من الشيخ، قال: الشرخ: الشباب.
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Kill the elderly among the polytheists and keep their youth alive." The son of Imam Ahmad says that I asked my father for an explanation of this hadith, so he said: "An old man generally does not accept Islam, whereas a young man does; thus, the young are closer to Islam compared to the old."
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده ضعيف، الحسن لم يصرح بسماعه
Hadith Number: 20146
حدثنا ابو معاوية ، عن حجاج ، عن سعيد بن عبيد بن زيد بن عقبة ، عن ابيه , عن سمرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا سرق من الرجل متاع، او ضاع له متاع، فوجده بيد رجل بعينه، فهو احق به، ويرجع المشتري على البائع بالثمن" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a person's property is stolen or lost, or he sees his exact property with someone, then he has a greater right to it, and the buyer (purchaser) will take his price from the seller (vendor).
حكم دارالسلام: حديث حسن، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، حجاج بن أرطاة مدلس، وقد عنعن
Hadith Number: 20147
حدثنا إسماعيل ، عن سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " جار الدار احق بالدار" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The neighbor of the house has more right to the house than others.

Hadith Number: 20148
حدثنا زكريا بن ابي زكريا , حدثنا هشيم ، عن موسى بن السائب ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " المرء احق بعين ماله حيث عرفه، ويتبع البيع بيعه" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever sees his own goods with someone, he has a greater right to them, and the buyer will take his price from the seller.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث حسن، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، الحسن مدلس وقد عنعن
Hadith Number: 20149
حدثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم ، حدثني عبد الله بن سوادة ، عن ابيه ، عن سمرة , قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا يغرنكم اذان بلال، ولا هذا البياض لعمود الصبح حتى يستطير" .
Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) once said during a sermon that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not let Bilal's call to prayer or this whiteness deceive you until the true dawn appears."
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، م: 1094، وهذا إسناد حسن
Hadith Number: 20150
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، عن شعبة ، حدثنا معبد بن خالد ، عن زيد بن عقبة ، عن سمرة بن جندب :" ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: كان يقرا في الجمعة: ب سبح اسم ربك الاعلى و هل اتاك حديث الغاشية" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there come to you the narration" in the Friday prayer.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح
Hadith Number: 20151
حدثنا روح ، حدثنا سعيد , وعبد الوهاب , اخبرنا سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة بن جندب : ان نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يقول: " إن الدجال خارج وهو اعور عين الشمال، عليها ظفرة غليظة، وإنه يبرئ الاكمه والابرص، ويحيي الموتى، ويقول للناس انا ربكم، فمن قال: انت ربي، فقد فتن، ومن قال: ربي الله، حتى يموت، فقد عصم من فتنته، ولا فتنة بعده عليه ولا عذاب، فيلبث في الارض ما شاء الله ثم يجيء عيسى ابن مريم عليهما السلام من قبل المغرب مصدقا بمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وعلى ملته، فيقتل الدجال، ثم إنما هو قيام الساعة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Dajjal is about to emerge, and he will be blind in his left eye, and there will be a thick nail over it. He will cure those who are born blind and those suffering from leprosy, and he will bring the dead back to life. He will say to the people, "I am your Lord." Whoever accepts this and says, "He is my Lord," will fall into tribulation, and whoever says, "My Lord is Allah," and remains steadfast upon this until the end, will be safe from his tribulation, and he will not be subjected to any trial nor any punishment. The Dajjal will remain on the earth as long as Allah wills, then Hazrat Isa (Jesus) will descend from the west, and he will come and affirm the truth of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and will be upon his religion, and he will kill the Dajjal. Then the Day of Judgment will draw near.

Hadith Number: 20152
حدثنا بهز ، حدثنا همام ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " العمرى جائزة لاهلها" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Umra is permissible in favor of the person for whom it is made.
