Abu Salamah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) how the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to fast. She replied that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would fast so much that we would say, "Now the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) will continue to fast," and sometimes he would leave off fasting so much that we would say, "Now the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) will continue to leave off fasting." And I have not seen the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fast in any month as much as I saw him fast in Sha'ban; the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would fast almost the entire month, leaving only a few days.

Rabi’ah Jurashi reports that once I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) what supplication the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite when he woke up at night and with what he would begin. She replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say takbeer ten times, alhamdulillah ten times, subhanAllah ten times, la ilaha illallah ten times, and astaghfirullah ten times. Then, the second time, he would recite this supplication: O Allah! Forgive me, grant me guidance, and provide me sustenance. And ten times he would recite this supplication: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the distress of the Day of Reckoning.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray eleven rak'ahs between Isha and Fajr, saying salam after every two rak'ahs. He would pray one rak'ah as Witr. In the nawafil, he would perform such a long prostration that before he raised his head, any one of you could recite fifty verses. When the muezzin finished giving the first adhan, he would pray two short rak'ahs, then lie down on his right side until the muezzin would come and inform the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that the prayer was about to begin.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting and eating food with his six companions (may Allah be pleased with them) when a Bedouin came and ate all the food in just two bites. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If he had recited Bismillah, this food would have sufficed for everyone. Therefore, when any one of you eats food, he should recite Bismillah over it. If he forgets to recite Bismillah at the beginning, then upon remembering, he should recite:
