It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pay such special attention to the crescent of Sha'ban that he did not pay as much attention to the crescent of any other month. He would fast upon sighting the crescent, and if the sky was cloudy, he would complete the count of thirty days and then fast.

Hazrat Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that once Hazrat Mu’awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) sent a letter through me to Hazrat Aisha. When I reached her and handed over the letter, she said,“Son! Shall I not narrate to you a hadith which I heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?”I replied,“Why not?”She said,“Once Hafsa and I were present in the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, ‘I wish there was a man with us who would talk to us.’ Hazrat Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) said, ‘Shall I send someone to call Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)?’ The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent at first, then said, ‘No.’ I suggested calling Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), but the same happened. Then a man was called and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whispered to him for a while. Shortly after, Hazrat Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned his full attention towards him. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say, ‘Uthman! Soon Allah will clothe you with a shirt. If the hypocrites want you to take it off, do not take it off until you meet me.’ He repeated this sentence three times. Hazrat Nu’man (may Allah be pleased with him) says, ‘I asked her, O Mother of the Believers! Why have you not mentioned this until now?’ She replied, ‘By Allah, I had forgotten it. I did not remember it.’”

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray on a mat.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite in bowing and prostration: Subbuhun Quddusun Rabbul Malaikati war-Ruh.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the two rak'ahs before Fajr: "These two rak'ahs are more beloved to me than the whole world."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that on the day of the Battle of Badr, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that the bells hanging around the necks of the camels be broken.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No adult girl should perform prayer without a head covering, for it is not accepted.

Abu Hassan says that a man informed Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates a hadith that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Omen is found in a woman, a house, and a riding animal." She became very angry. Then the man said that a part of it flies towards the sky and a part remains on the earth. Hazrat Aisha said: "The people of ignorance used to take bad omens from this (Islam has declared such things to be baseless)."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that there was a wild animal in the house of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would be outside the house, it would play, jump around, and move back and forth. But as soon as it sensed that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was coming home, it would sit quietly in one place, and as long as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained in the house, it would not do any mischief so that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not be caused any discomfort.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once some meat given as charity came to Barirah from somewhere. She sent it to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a gift. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed that this meat was from charity. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It was charity for her, but now it has become a gift for us."
