It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that at the time of agony (of death), I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that there was a bowl of water placed near him, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kept putting his hand into the bowl and wiping it over his face, and kept supplicating: "O Allah! Help me in the agonies of death."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that at the time when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, he was between my chest and chin, and after seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), I will never dislike seeing the severity of death upon anyone.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called his daughter Hazrat Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) and began to speak to her in a whisper. During this, Hazrat Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) began to weep. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whispered to her again, and she began to laugh. Later, I asked Hazrat Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had whispered to her that made her weep, and what he whispered again that made her laugh. She replied that the first time the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whispered to her, he informed her of his impending death, so she began to weep. When he whispered to her again, he told her that among his family, she would be the first to join him, so she began to laugh.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sit in any gathering or perform prayer, he would say some words. Urwah says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about these words, so she said: If you say something good, it will be sealed for you until the Day of Judgment, and if you say something else, it will be an expiation for you. And those words are: "Subhanaka wa bihamdika la ilaha illa anta astaghfirullaha wa atubu ilayh."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the verse of choice (Ayat Takhyir) was revealed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) first called me and said, "O Aisha! I want to mention something before you; do not make any decision in this matter without consulting your parents." I asked, "What is it?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called me and recited this verse: "O Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), say to your wives: If you desire Allah and His Messenger and the Hereafter..." I said, "I choose Allah and His Messenger." Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) became very happy.

Narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to enter into Ihram, he would wash his head with khatmi and ushnan, and would apply a little olive oil, not too much. We performed Hajj with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had his other wives perform Umrah, but left me out. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to my brother Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him): "Take your sister so that she may perform Umrah, and have her perform Tawaf of the House of Allah and Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, and when her Umrah is complete, bring her to me at Hasbah before nightfall." It was as if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed at the place of Hasbah only because of me.
