بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ وَجَوَازِهَا فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ وَمَا يَفْعَلُ مَنْ صَلَّى فِي قَمِيصٍ وَاحِدٍ تَبْدُو مِنْ عَوْرَتِهِ
Chapter on the Recommendation to Pray in Two Garments, Its Permissibility in One, and What to Do if Praying in a Shirt that Exposes the Awrah
Hadith Number: 1415
عن زهير قال: ثنا ابو الزبير عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم صلى في ثوب واحد متوشح به، فقال بعض القوم لابي الزبير: المكتوبة؟ قال: المكتوبة وغير المكتوبة
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform prayer wrapped in a single garment. Some people asked Abu Zubair whether it was an obligatory prayer. He replied: He used to perform both obligatory and non-obligatory prayers.

Hadith Number: 1416
عن سلمة بن الاكوع رضي الله عنه قال: قلت: يا رسول الله! إني اكون في الصيد فاصلي وليس علي إلا قميص واحد؟ قال: ((فزره وإن لم تجد إلا شوكة))
Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said,“O Messenger of Allah! Since I am out hunting, can I pray in just a shirt?”The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (You may pray) but fasten it, even if you find nothing but a thorn to do so.

بَابُ كَرَاهِيَةِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَالْاحْتِبَاءِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ
Chapter on the Dislike of Enveloping Oneself Tightly and Sitting with Knees Drawn Up in a Single Garment
Hadith Number: 1417
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم نهى عن لبستين: الصماء وان يحتبي الرجل بثوبه ليس على فرجه منه شيء
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade two states of clothing: from tying a knot at the end and from wrapping a garment around oneself in such a way that nothing covers a man's private parts from it.

Hadith Number: 1418
عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما ان نبي الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ((لا ترتدوا الصماء في ثوب واحد، ولا ياكل احدكم بشماله، ولا يمش في نعل واحدة، ولا يحتب في ثوب واحد))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not wrap yourself completely in one cloth like a woman, and none of you should eat with his left hand, nor walk with one shoe, nor sit with one knee raised while wearing one cloth.

Hadith Number: 1419
عن ابي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((كل الارض مسجد وطهور إلا المقبرة والحمام))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: All of the earth is a mosque and a purifier, except for graveyards and bathhouses.

Hadith Number: 1420
عن ابي مرثد الغنوي رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقول: ((لا تصلوا إلى القبور ولا تجلسوا عليها (وفي لفظ) لا تجلسوا على القبور ولا تصلوا عليها))
Sayyiduna Abu Marthad Ghanawi (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Do not pray towards graves and do not sit on them. And in another narration, the words are: Do not sit on graves and do not pray on them.

Hadith Number: 1421
عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم كان يصلي في مرابض الغنم ولا يصلي في مرابض الإبل والبقر
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray in sheepfolds, but he would not pray in the enclosures of camels and cows.

Hadith Number: 1422
عن ابي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ((إذا لم تجدوا إلا مرابض الغنم ومعاطن الإبل فصلوا في مرابض الغنم ولا تصلوا في معاطن الإبل))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When you do not find any place except the enclosures of goats and camels, then perform prayer in the enclosures of goats, but do not perform prayer in the enclosures of camels.

Hadith Number: 1423
حدثنا عبد الله حدثني ابي ثنا يعقوب ثنا عبد الملك بن الربيع بن سبرة عن ابيه عن جده (سبرة بن معبد رضي الله عنه) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم نحوه
Sayyiduna Sabrah bin Ma’bad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated a similar hadith from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
