Al-Fath al-Rabbani
الرُّخْصَةُ فِي الْقُبْلَةِ وَالْمُبَاشَرَةِ لِلصَّائِمِ إِلَّا لِمَنْ يَخَافُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ
Concession for Kissing and Physical Contact for the Fasting Person Except for One Who Fears for Himself
Hadith Number: 3778
(وعنها من طريق ثالث) قال: إن كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ليظل صائما ثم يقبل ما شاء من وجهي حتى يفطر
(Third chain) Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) used to fast, and then until breaking the fast, he would kiss my face as much as he wished.

Hadith Number: 3779
حدثنا عبد الله حدثني ابي ثنا عفان قال: ثنا محمد بن دينار عن سعد بن اوس عن مصدع ابي يحيى الانصاري عن عائشة رضي الله عنها ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم كان يقبلها وهو صائم ويمص لسانها، قلت: سمعته من سعد بن اوس؟ قال: نعم
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss her while he was fasting and used to suck her tongue. Affan says: I asked Muhammad bin Dinar, "Did you hear this hadith directly from Saad bin Aws?" He replied: "Yes."

حدثنا عبد الله حدثني ابي ثنا سفيان قال: قلت لعبد الرحمن بن القاسم: اسمعت اباك يحدث عن عائشة رضي الله عنها ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم كان يقبلها وهو صائم فسكت هنية، ثم قال: نعم
Imam Sufyan said to Abdur Rahman bin Qasim: Did you hear your father narrate this hadith from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss her while he was fasting? Upon hearing this, Abdur Rahman bin Al-Qasim remained silent for a while, then said: Yes.

عن ابي قيس قال: ارسلني عبد الله بن عمرو رضي الله عنه إلى ام سلمة اسالها، هل كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقبل وهو صائم؟ فإن قالت: لا، فقل لها إن عائشة رضي الله عنها تخبر الناس ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم كان يقبل وهو صائم؟ قال: فسالتها اكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقبل وهو صائم؟ قالت: لا، قلت: إن عائشة رضي الله عنها تخبر الناس ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم كان يقبل وهو صائم قالت: لعله إياها، كان لا يتمالك عنها حبا، اما إياي فلا
Abu Qais says: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) sent me to Sayyida Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) so that I could ask her whether the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss while fasting. If she answers in the negative, then say to her that Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) tells people that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss while fasting. So I went and asked Sayyida Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her): Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) use to kiss while fasting? She said: No. I said: But Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) tells people that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss while fasting. She said: It is possible that he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss her, because he (peace and blessings be upon him) loved her very much. As for me, he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not kiss me in that state.

عن عبد الله بن فروخ ان امراة سالت ام سلمة رضي الله عنها فقالت: إن زوجي يقبلني وهو صائم وانا صائمة، فما ترين؟ فقالت: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقبلني وهو صائم وانا صائمة
Abdullah bin Farukh says that a woman asked Sayyida Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that her husband kisses her while both of them are fasting; what is your opinion about this? She replied: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss me while he was fasting and I was also fasting.

عن حفصة بنت عمر رضي الله عنها ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم كان يقبل وهو صائم
It is narrated from Sayyidah Hafsah bint Umar (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss while in the state of fasting.

(وعنها من طريق ثان): ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم كان ينال من وجه بعض نسائه وهو صائم
(Second chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to kiss some of his wives while he was fasting.

Hadith Number: 3785
عن ام حبيبة (زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ورضي الله عنها) ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم كان يقبل وهو صائم
It is narrated from the wife of the Messenger, Sayyida Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss while in the state of fasting.

Hadith Number: 3786
عن ايوب عن شيخ من بني سدوس قال: سئل ابن عباس رضي الله عنه عن القبلة للصائم فقال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يصيب من الرؤوس وهو صائم
A Sheikh from Banu Sadoos narrates that when Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about a fasting person kissing (his wife), he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to make use of the upper (bodily parts) while fasting.

عن عطاء بن يسار عن رجل من الانصار ان الانصاري اخبر عطاء: انه قبل امراته على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وهو صائم فسالت النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم عن ذلك فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يفعل ذلك))، فاخبرته امراته فقال: إن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يرخص له في اشياء، فارجعي إليه، فقولي له، فرجعت إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم فقالت: قال: إن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يرخص له في اشياء، فقال: ((انا اتقاكم لله واعلمكم بحدود الله))
‘Ata bin Yasar says: An Ansari man narrated to me that during the time of the Messenger of Allah, he kissed his wife while fasting. When his wife asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) about this, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah also does so. When his wife went and told him, he said: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is sometimes given special concessions in certain matters, so go and ask again. So she returned to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: My husband says that you (peace and blessings be upon him) are given special permission in some matters. Upon hearing this, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I am the most fearful of Allah among you and the most knowledgeable of Allah’s limits among you.
