Ibrahim (peace be upon him) threw seven pebbles at him, so he sank into the earth. After that, when Ibrahim (peace be upon him) came to Jamrah al-Wusta, Satan appeared before him again. He (peace be upon him) threw seven pebbles at him again, so he sank into the earth. After that, Ibrahim (peace be upon him) went to Jamrah al-Quswa, and there too Satan appeared before him. He (peace be upon him) threw seven pebbles at him there as well, so he sank into the earth. After that, when Ibrahim (peace be upon him) intended to sacrifice his son Ishaq (peace be upon him), he said to his father: O my father!
