Sunan Saeed bin Mansur
بَابُ الْمَرْأَةِ تُزَوَّجُ فِي عِدِّتِهَا
Chapter: A woman marrying during her waiting period ('iddah)
Hadith Number: 697
نا نا هشيم، قال: انا اشعث بن سوار، عن الشعبي، عن مسروق،" ان عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه رجع عن قوله في الصداق، وجعله لها بما استحل من فرجها" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) retracted his initial statement and gave the woman the dowry, because the man had benefited from her.

Hadith Number: 698
نا نا سفيان، عن ابي الزناد، عن سليمان بن يسار , ان عمر قال للتي نكحت في عدتها: فرق بينهما، وقال:" لا يتناكحان ابدا , وجعل لها المهر بما استحل من فرجها، وامرها ان تعتد من هذا وتعتد من هذا" .
It is narrated from Sulaiman bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Separate the two of them, they should never marry each other again, give the woman her dowry because the man has benefited from her, and the woman must complete the waiting period ('iddah) for both."

Hadith Number: 699
نا نا هشيم، قال: انا محمد بن سالم، عن الشعبي , ان عليا رضي الله عنه , " فرق بينهما وجعل لها الصداق بما استحل من فرجها، وقال: إذا انقضت عدتها إن شاءت تزوجته فعلت" ، قال هشيم: وهو القول عندنا.
Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) separated the two, gave the woman her dowry, and said: "When her waiting period ('iddah) is over, if she wishes, she can marry the same man again." Hisham says: "This is also the correct opinion according to us."

Hadith Number: 700
نا هشيم , قال: انا إسماعيل بن ابي خالد , قال: قال إبراهيم: " يفرق بينهما، ويتزوجها الآخر، ثم تكمل ما بقي من عدتها من الاول , ثم تعتد من الآخر" . وقال الشعبي: " تعتد من هذا الآخر , ثم تعتد بقية عدتها من الاول" .
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Separation should be made between the two, and if the woman marries another man, she should complete the waiting period ('iddah) of the first, then begin the 'iddah of the second." Al-Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "She should first observe the 'iddah of the second man, then complete the remaining period of the first 'iddah."

Hadith Number: 701
نا سفيان، عن إسماعيل بن ابي خالد، عن إبراهيم، والشعبي، قال: كان بينهما , فقال احدهما:" تعتد من الاول"، وقال الآخر:" تبدا من الآخر" , فقال إبراهيم:" إنك إذا اتيت" .
There was a disagreement between Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) and Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him). One said: "She should complete the waiting period ('iddah) of the first husband." The other said: "She should complete the waiting period of the second husband." Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If you say this, you will be caught in a dilemma."

Hadith Number: 702
نا هشيم، قال: نا ابن شبرمة، قال: سمعت الشعبي، سئل عن رجل طلق امراته فتزوجت في عدتها فاي العدتين تبدا؟ فقال الشعبي:" تبدا بالعدة من احدثهما بها عهدا" .
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: A man divorced his wife, she was in her waiting period ('iddah) when she married another man. Now, for which husband should she complete the waiting period? He replied: "She should complete the waiting period for the one with whom the relationship is most recent."

Hadith Number: 703
نا هشيم، قال: انا بعض الكوفيين، انه قال لإبراهيم حين قال: تبدا بالعدة من الاول، ارايت إن كانت حاملا من الآخر؟، فسكت إبراهيم فما اجابه" .
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: What if a woman becomes pregnant by another husband? Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) remained silent and did not answer.

بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ غَابَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا فَتَزَوَّجَتْ بَعْدَهُ
Chapter: What is reported regarding a woman whose husband is absent and she remarries after him
Hadith Number: 704
نا هشيم، قال: نا سعيد بن ابي عروبة، عن ابي معشر، عن إبراهيم , انه كان يقول: " إذا دخلت عدتان في عدة اجزاتها إحداهما" .
Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "When two waiting periods (iddahs) come together, the completion of one of them will suffice."

Hadith Number: 705
نا فضيل بن عياض، عن منصور، عن إبراهيم , في رجل غاب عن امراته، فتزوجت ثم جاء الاول , فقال:" تعتد عدة واحدة" .
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If a man becomes absent from his wife and the woman marries (another), then the first husband returns, the woman will observe only one waiting period ('iddah)."

Hadith Number: 706
نا فضيل، عن منصور، عن الحكم , قال: " عدتان" .
Hazrat Hakam bin Utaybah, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "She will complete two waiting periods (iddahs)."
