Yunus bin Ubaid, the freed slave of Muhammad bin Qasim, says that Muhammad bin Qasim sent me to Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with them both) to ask him about the flag of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Bara’ said:“His flag was striped, square, and black.” Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Gharib,
2- We know it only from the narration of Ibn Abi Zaidah,
3- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ali, Harith bin Hissan, and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them),
4- Abu Ya’qub Thaqafi’s name is Ishaq bin Ibrahim; from him, Ubaidullah bin Musa has also narrated.

'Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says that the flag of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was black and the banner was white. Imam Tirmidhi says:
This narration of Ibn Abbas with this chain is Hasan Gharib.

‘Mahlab bin Abi Safrah narrates from those people who heard from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), he was saying:“If the enemy attacks you at night, then say «حم لا ينصرون» .”1. Imam Tirmidhi says:

1- Some people have narrated from Abu Ishaq Sabi’i in the same way as Sufyan Thawri’s narration, and from Abu Ishaq this hadith has also come through a mursal chain via «عن المهلب بن أبي صفرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» .
2- In this chapter, there is also a narration from Salamah bin Al-Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him).

Ibn Sirin says: I made my sword like the sword of Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him), and Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) thought that he had made his sword like the sword of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and his sword was made in the style of the tribe of Banu Hanifah. Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is gharib; we know it only through this chain,
2- Yahya bin Saeed al-Qattan spoke about Uthman bin Sa’d al-Katib and considered him weak in memory.

Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that in the year of the conquest of Makkah, when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reached Marr az-Zahran and informed us of the news of facing the enemy, he ordered us to break the fast, so all of us broke our fasts . Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih,
2- There is also a narration from Umar in this chapter.

Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mounted Abu Talha’s horse, which was called «مندوب» . There was nothing to be alarmed about; we found this horse to be like the sea in its gait. Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih,
2- In this chapter, there is also a narration from Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both).

Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says that there was an atmosphere of panic in Madinah, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) borrowed our horse named «مندوب» from us. We did not see any panic, and we found the horse's gait to be like that of the sea. Imam Tirmidhi says:
This hadith is hasan sahih.

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was the bravest, the most generous, and the most courageous of all people. One night, the people of Madinah were alarmed; they had heard a sound. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), with a sword hanging from him, mounted Abu Talhah’s bareback horse and reached the people. He said:“Do not worry, do not worry.”The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“I found the horse to be like the sea in its speed.”__REF_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says: This hadith is authentic.

Barā’ bin ‘Āzib (may Allah be pleased with both of them) says that a man asked us:“Abū ‘Ammārah! 1 Did you people flee from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?”He said:“No, by Allah! The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not turn his back, rather the hasty people turned their backs. The tribe of Hawāzin attacked them with arrows. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was mounted on his mule, Abū Sufyān bin Hārith bin ‘Abdul-Muttalib was holding the mule’s rein, 2 and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was saying: ‘I am a Prophet, this is no lie. I am the son of ‘Abdul-Muttalib.’ 3” Imām Tirmidhī says:
1- This hadith is hasan sahih.
2- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from ‘Alī and Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them).

'Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: On the day of the Battle of Hunayn, our condition was such that both groups of Muslims had turned their backs, and there were not even a hundred men with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Gharib,
2- We know it from this chain only through the narration of Ubaidullah.
