Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that among the beautiful women, there was an extremely beautiful woman who used to pray behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Some men used to pray in the last rows so that they could see her, and they would look at her from under their armpits during bowing (ruku‘), while some people would move forward and stand in the first row so that they would not see her. Allah Almighty revealed this verse (to describe the behavior of both): "We surely know those of you who go forward and those who lag behind." (Surah Al-Hijr: 24)

-" كلوا واشربوا ولا يهيدنكم الساطع المصعد، فكلوا واشربوا حتى يعترض لكم الاحمر".
Abdullah bin Nu’man Suhaimi says: It was the last part of the night in Ramadan. Qais bin Taliq came to me to ask for some curry, while I had already finished eating suhoor out of fear of the morning. I said: Uncle! If any part of the night remains (and there is still time for suhoor), I will seat you with food and drink. He said: Do you have food and drink? So he came inside, and I presented tharid, meat, and nabidh. He himself ate and drank, and compelled me so much that I also started eating and drinking, even though I was afraid of the morning. Then he said: Sayyiduna Taliq bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Eat and drink (regarding suhoor); do not let the rising light disturb you, rather continue eating and drinking until the red light (in the horizon) spreads.”

-" ما بال رجال بلغهم عني امر ترخصت فيه، فكرهوه وتنزهوا عنه؟! فوالله لانا اعلمهم بالله واشدهم له خشية".
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did an act and then granted a concession in it. When this reached the Companions, they disliked this concession and began to avoid it. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) learned of their attitude, he stood as a preacher and said: "What is the matter with people that a concession from me has reached them, but they disliked it and began to avoid it? By Allah! I am the one who knows Allah the most and fears Him the most among you."

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "It is a concession from Allah, so whoever accepts it, it is good, and whoever wishes to fast, there is no sin upon him either."
