Mukhtasar Sahih Bukhari
From where to enter Makkah is Sunnah
Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to enter Makkah from the direction of Kada’, that is, from the high pass which is in Batha, and when leaving Makkah, he would go out from the lower pass.
Virtue of Makkah and its buildings
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the Hatim wall, whether it is also part of the Ka’bah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied:“Yes.”I asked: Then why did those people not include it within the Ka’bah? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Your people had insufficient funds (that is why they did not include it).”I asked: What is the matter with the door? Why is it so high? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Your people did this so that they could allow into the Ka’bah whomever they wished and prevent whomever they wished. And if your people were not so close to the time of ignorance, and if I did not fear that their hearts would dislike it, I would certainly have included the Hatim within the Ka’bah and lowered its door to the ground (that is, made the threshold lower).”
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), if your people had not recently left the Age of Ignorance, I would have ordered the Ka'bah to be demolished, and I would have included in it the part that was left out, and I would have joined it with the ground, and I would have made two doors for it—one eastern door and one western door—and I would have made it according to the foundations of Ibrahim (peace be upon him)."
Inheritance and buying/selling of Makkah houses; equal right in Masjid al-Haram
Narrated from Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: When he was going for the Farewell Pilgrimage, he submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! Where will you stay in your house in Makkah?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "Aqeel has not left any property or houses (for us)." And Aqeel and Talib became the heirs of Abu Talib, neither Sayyiduna Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) inherited anything from him, nor Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), because both of them were Muslims and Aqeel and Talib (at that time) were disbelievers.
The Prophet's stay in Makkah is established
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said on the day after sacrifice, that is, on the eleventh of Dhul-Hijjah, while he was in Mina: "Tomorrow, if Allah wills, we will stay at Khayf Bani Kinana, where the polytheists made a pact of disbelief among themselves, that is, we will stay at Muhassab. And this incident (the pact of disbelief) happened in such a way that the Quraish and Kinana made an agreement against Bani Hashim and Bani Abdul Muttalib (or the narrator said: Bani Muttalib) that they would not marry with them nor sell them anything until Bani Hashim handed over the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to them."
Destruction of the Ka'bah
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "A man from Abyssinia with thin legs will demolish the Ka'bah (near the Day of Judgment)."
Allah's command (Surah Ma'idah): Allah made the Ka'bah a center for people
Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: (We) used to fast on the day of Ashura before the fasting of Ramadan was made obligatory, and it was a day on which the covering was placed over the Ka'bah. Then, when Allah Almighty made Ramadan obligatory, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "(Now) whoever wishes to fast on Ashura may do so, and whoever does not wish to fast may leave it."
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "Even after the emergence of Gog and Magog, Hajj and 'Umrah of the Ka'bah will be performed."
Prohibition of demolishing the Ka'bah
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "It is as if I am seeing that thin-legged, dark-skinned (i.e., Abyssinian) man who will dismantle the Ka'bah stone by stone."
What is reported about the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad)
It is narrated from Amir al-Mu'minin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the Black Stone (during Tawaf), then he kissed it and said: "Indeed, I know that you are a stone; you can neither harm nor benefit anyone. And if I had not seen the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kissing you, I would never have kissed you."
