Speaking during Tawaf is permissible
Narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) that while performing Tawaf of the Ka'bah, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a man who had tied his hand with a strap or rope or something else, and another person was pulling him by it. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) broke that rope with his own hand and then said: "Lead him by holding his hand."

`Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that Sayyiduna Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) requested the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) for permission to stay in Makkah during the nights of Mina in order to provide water to the pilgrims, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted him permission.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to the Sabeel and asked for Zamzam water. So Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said (to his son), "O Fadl! Go to your mother and bring water for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Give me this water to drink." Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! People put their hands in it." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Give me to drink from this itself." So he (the Prophet) drank from it. Then he came to the place of Zamzam, and there people were drawing water from the well and giving it to others to drink. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If it were not that you would be overpowered (i.e., the task of giving water would be taken from your hands), then surely I would descend and, pointing to his shoulder, said, I would place the rope on my shoulder (and draw water myself), but I think that if I do so, others, out of obedience, would also do the same, and then you would be overpowered."

Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that: I gave Zamzam water to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to drink, so he drank it while standing. In another narration, Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was riding a camel that day.

Obligation of Sa'i between Safa and Marwah
‘From Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), her nephew Urwah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) asked her about the saying of Allah Almighty:“Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever performs Hajj to the House or performs Umrah, there is no blame upon him for walking between them.”(Surah Al-Baqarah: 158), and he said,“By Allah! From this it seems (to me) that there is no sin upon anyone if he does not perform Sa’i between Safa and Marwah?”Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) replied,“O nephew! You have stated a very wrong meaning. If the meaning was as you have stated, then the verse would have been: ‘Indeed, there was no sin upon anyone for not walking between them.’ Rather, this verse was revealed about the Ansar. Before accepting Islam, they used to assume Ihram for ‘Manat’ (an idol) kept near Mushallal, and people used to worship it. And those among the Ansar who assumed Ihram for Hajj or Umrah used to consider it a sin to perform Sa’i between Safa and Marwah. So when they became Muslims, they asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about this and said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! We used to consider it objectionable to perform Sa’i between Safa and Marwah.’ So Allah Almighty revealed this verse: ‘Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah...’ until the end of the verse.”Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) said,“Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) established the practice of Sa’i between them, so no one has the option to abandon Sa’i between them.”

A menstruating woman should do all Hajj acts except Tawaf
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his companions assumed the Ihram for Hajj, and none of them had a sacrificial animal except the Prophet (peace be upon him) and Sayyiduna Talha (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came from Yemen and he had a sacrificial animal with him. So he said, "I have assumed Ihram for the same thing for which the Prophet (peace be upon him) has assumed Ihram." Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered the companions: "Change this Ihram to the Ihram of Umrah, perform Tawaf, cut your hair, and come out of Ihram, except for the one who has a sacrificial animal with him." Then the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said, "How can we go to Mina while semen will be dripping from our private parts?" This news reached the Prophet (peace be upon him), so he said: "If I had known earlier what I have come to know now, I would not have brought the sacrificial animal with me, and if I did not have the sacrificial animal with me, I would have come out of Ihram."
