Urs bin Umairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a sin is committed on the earth and a person present there dislikes it, then he is like one who is not present there. Hadith Number: 5142
It is narrated from Abu Bakr Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: "O people! You recite this verse: 'O you who believe! Take care of your own selves. If you are guided, no one who goes astray can harm you.' I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'Indeed, when people see an evil and do not stop it, then it is near that Allah will encompass them all with His punishment.'" (Ibn Majah, Tirmidhi, and Imam Tirmidhi declared it authentic.) And in the narration of Abu Dawood: "When they see the oppressor (committing oppression) and do not restrain his hands, then it is near that Allah will encompass them all with punishment." And in another narration of Abu Dawood: "Any nation in which sins are committed, and they do not stop them despite having the power to do so, then it is near that Allah will encompass them all with punishment." In another narration: "If a minority of a nation becomes involved in sin, and the majority, though not committing the sin themselves, do not stop those who do, (then they too will be afflicted with punishment)." Its chain is authentic. Narrated by Ibn Majah, Tirmidhi, and Abu Dawood.

Regarding the statement of Allah Almighty: "Hold fast to your own selves; when you are rightly guided, those who go astray cannot harm you," Abu Tha’labah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: He said, Listen! By Allah, I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about this, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Rather, you must continue to enjoin good and forbid evil, until you see that miserliness is obeyed, desires are followed, the world is preferred, and every person is pleased with his own opinion and intellect, and you see an affair which it is difficult to avoid, then hold fast to your own selves and leave the common people to their affairs, for ahead are coming the days of patience. Whoever is patient in those days will be like one who holds a burning ember, and for the one who acts in those days, there will be the reward of fifty men doing the same deed." The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! The reward of fifty men among them?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "The reward of fifty men among you." Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon to us after the Asr prayer, and he mentioned all the events that would occur until the Day of Resurrection. Some people remembered it, and some forgot it. Among what he said in his address was: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The world is sweet and lush. Indeed, Allah is going to make you successors in it, so He will see how you act. Beware! Be cautious of the world, and be cautious of (the temptation of) women." And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned: "On the Day of Resurrection, for every betrayer, there will be a flag according to the extent of his betrayal in the world, and there is no betrayal greater than the betrayal of the general leader (the head of state); his flag will be fixed on his buttocks. And the fear of people should not prevent any of you from speaking the truth when he knows it." In another narration: "If he sees an evil, he should stop it, and the fear of people should not prevent him from doing so." Thus (after narrating this), Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) began to weep and said: "Indeed, we saw this, but the fear of people prevented us from speaking about it." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Listen! The children of Adam were created in different categories: among them, some were created as believers, they lived as such and died as such; and among them, some were created as disbelievers, they lived as such and died as such; and among them, some are born as believers, live as believers, and die as disbelievers; and among them, some are born as disbelievers, live as such, and die as believers." And the narrator states: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned anger: "Among them, some get angry quickly and it subsides quickly; one trait is the substitute for the other. And among them, some get angry slowly and it subsides slowly; this too is one trait for another. The best among you is the one who gets angry slowly and it subsides quickly, and the worst among you is the one who gets angry quickly and it subsides slowly." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Beware of anger, for it is a burning coal on the heart of the son of Adam. Do you not see the swelling of his veins and the redness of his eyes? Whoever feels such a state should lie down and attach himself to the ground." The narrator states: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned debt and said: "Some of you are good in repayment, but when they have to take a loan, they are harsh in collection; this trait is the substitute for the other (however, this quality is not praiseworthy). Some are bad in repayment but good in collection; this too is the substitute for the other (however, this quality is not praiseworthy). The best among you is the one who, when he owes a debt, repays it well, and when he has to collect a debt, he is gentle in collection. The worst among you is the one who is bad in repayment and harsh in collection." Until, when the sunlight reached the tops of the date palms and the sides of the walls, he said: "Listen! Only as much of the world remains as the portion of this day that remains." Chain is weak, narrated by al-Tirmidhi.

Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“When the Children of Israel became involved in sins, their scholars forbade them, but when they did not desist, the scholars began to sit with them and eat and drink with them. Allah made their hearts resemble one another, and cursed them on the tongue of Dawud and ‘Isa son of Maryam, and this happened because they disobeyed and transgressed.”The narrator says, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was reclining, then he sat up and said:“No (you will not succeed either), by the One in Whose hand is my soul! Until you strictly prevent them (the sinners, the wrongdoers).”And in the narration of Abu Dawud, he said:“Never, by Allah!
