Musa bin Salamah says that we were with Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) in Makkah Mukarramah. We asked him: When we are with you, we perform four rak'ahs, and when we return to our mounts, that is, set out on a journey, we perform two rak'ahs. What is the reality of this? He replied: This is the Sunnah of Abul Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him).
