Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that once the daughter of Sayyiduna Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "She is not lawful for me because she is my foster niece." Show me the Seal of Prophethood that is between your two shoulders. I am a very famous physician among the people (I can treat it)." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), avoiding his request, said: "Shall I not show you a miracle?" He said: "Why not." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) looked at a date-palm tree and said: "Call that branch." When he called it, the branch came leaping and jumping and stood before him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to it: "Go back to your place." So it went back to its place. Seeing this, the man from Banu Amir said: "O people of Banu Amir! I have never seen a magician as powerful as this today."
