It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If people knew what reward there is in the call to prayer and in the first row (of prayer), and then they could not attain these except by drawing lots, they would certainly draw lots for them. And if people knew how much reward there is for coming early to the prayer, they would race towards it. And if they knew how much reward there is in the Isha and Fajr prayers, they would surely attend them, even if they had to crawl to do so.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites these words three times during the day: "La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul mulk wa lahul hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer," it will be equal to freeing ten slaves, and a hundred good deeds will be written for him, a hundred sins will be erased, and until the evening, it will be a means of protection from Satan for him. And no one will be able to present a deed superior to this except the one who does more than this. And the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites "Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi" a hundred times during the day, all his sins will be erased, even if they are as much as the foam of the sea.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A man was walking on the road when he was overcome by intense thirst. He found a well nearby, so he went down into the well, quenched his thirst, and came out. Suddenly, he saw a dog that was licking mud out of thirst. He thought to himself that this dog must be as thirsty as I was. So he went down into the well again, filled his sock with water, held it in his mouth, came out, and gave the dog water to drink. Allah appreciated this deed of his and forgave him. When the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) heard this, they asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), is there a reward for us even in (doing good to) animals?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "There is a reward in (doing good to) every living being with a moist liver."
