It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubair that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have several names, I am Muhammad, I am Ahmad, I am Hashir, at whose feet people will be gathered, I am Mahi, through whom disbelief will be erased, and I am Aqib, after whom there will be no prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) that my camel was lost in the plain of Arafat. I went out to search for it and saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was standing in Arafat. I thought to myself that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is also from the Hums (Quraysh), but what is his condition here? Benefit: In fact, the people of Quraysh did not go to the plain of Arafat and they were called Hums, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) broke this custom.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut’im (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood in the Mosque of Khaif in the plain of Mina and said: May Allah keep fresh the person who hears my words, preserves them well, and then conveys them to those who did not hear them directly, for many people carry knowledge of jurisprudence but are not jurists, and many carriers of jurisprudence convey it to someone who is more understanding than themselves. There are three things in which a Muslim’s heart cannot be treacherous: (1) sincerity in action, (2) goodwill for the rulers, (3) adhering to the community, for the prayer of the community surrounds him from behind.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut’im that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the voluntary prayers recite three times: Allahu Akbar Kabira, three times: Walhamdulillahi Kathira, and three times: Subhanallahi Bukratan wa Aseela, and he would recite this supplication: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evil suggestions, spitting, and blowing of the accursed Satan. I asked: O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by the evil suggestions, spitting, and blowing? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The evil suggestions refer to the death that seizes the son of Adam, the blowing refers to arrogance, and the spitting refers to poetry.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut’im (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed the spoils of Khaybar among his close relatives, Banu Hashim and Banu Abdul Muttalib, I and Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) presented ourselves before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! We do not deny the virtue of Banu Hashim, for you have a status and rank with which Allah has distinguished you among them, but as for Banu Muttalib, you have given to them and left us out? Yet they and we have the same relation and status with you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In fact, these people did not separate from me in the time of ignorance nor in the time of Islam, and Banu Hashim and Banu Muttalib are one and the same. Saying this, he interlaced the fingers of both his hands to show it.
