It is narrated from ‘A’idh bin ‘Abdullah that I heard Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say:“Whoever puts water into his nose should expel it thoroughly, and whoever performs istinja’ should do so with an odd number (of stones or wipes).”
