Hadith of Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 20872
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), and from Hazrat Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him), that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying during the Farewell Pilgrimage: "This religion will always prevail over its opponents; no one who opposes or separates from it will be able to harm it, until twelve caliphs have passed in my Ummah." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said something which I could not understand. I asked my father, "What did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say?" He replied, "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'All of them will be from the Quraysh.'"

It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivering the sermon while standing. Therefore, if anyone among you says that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivering the sermon while sitting, he is speaking falsely. Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) sermon and prayer were moderate. Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would deliver two sermons: first, he would deliver one sermon and then sit down, then stand up and deliver the second sermon.
