حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ايوب ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال:" دخل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مكة يوم الفتح على ناقة لاسامة بن زيد، حتى اناخ بفناء الكعبة، ثم دعا عثمان بن طلحة بالمفتاح، فذهب إلى امه، فابت ان تعطيه إياه، فقال: لتعطيني او ليخرجن السيف من صلبي، فاعطته المفتاح، ففتح الباب، فدخل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، واسامة بن زيد، وبلال، وعثمان بن طلحة، واجافوا عليهم الباب مليا، وكنت شابا قويا، فبادرت الباب حين فتح، فاستقبلني بلال ، فقلت: يا بلال , اين صلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ فقال: بين العمودين المقدمين، ونسيت ان اساله كم صلى؟" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: On the occasion of the conquest of Makkah, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Makkah riding on the camel of Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made his camel sit near the building of the Ka'bah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked Sayyiduna Uthman bin Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) for the key. He went to his mother, but his mother refused to give him the key. So he said: Either you will give me the key or the sword will come out from my back. So the woman gave him the key. He opened the door. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and Sayyiduna Uthman bin Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) entered the Ka'bah. These gentlemen closed the door for a short while. At that time, I was a young, strong man. When the door opened, I quickly reached the door. Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came before me, so I asked: O Bilal! Where did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform the prayer? He replied: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the prayer between the two pillars in front. (Abdullah bin Umar says) I did not remember to ask him how many rak'ahs the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had performed.

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا مسعر ، قال: سمعت سماك الحنفي ، يقول: سالت ابن عمر ، عن الصلاة في البيت، فقال: صل فيه، فإن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قد صلى فيه، وسياتي آخر، فينهاك فلا تطعه ، فاتيت ابن عباس فسالته، فقال: ائتم به كله، ولا تجعل منه شيئا خلفك".
Simak Hanafi narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about performing prayer inside the Ka'bah, so he replied: You may perform prayer in it, because the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer in it. Soon, there will come a person who will forbid you from it, so do not obey him. (The narrator says:) I went to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him about this issue: he said: Follow all of its sides and do not leave any part of it behind you. (That is, perform prayer facing every direction inside it.)

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ايوب ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: " بعثنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سرية قبل نجد، فبلغت سهامنا اثنا عشر بعيرا، ونفلنا بعيرا بعيرا" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent us on a military expedition towards Najd, and twelve camels came to our share, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave each of us an additional camel as a gift.

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ايوب ، عن نافع ، قال: اصاب ابن عمر برد وهو محرم، فقال لنافع:" اطرح علي شيئا، فالقيت عليه برنسا فغضب، وقال: اطرحته علي وقد اخبرتك، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عنه؟!" .
Nafi’ narrates: Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) felt cold while in the state of Ihram, so he said to Nafi’:“Put something over me!”So I put a cap on him, and he became angry and said:“Did you put this on me, while I have told you that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade this?”

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ايوب ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ," ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رجم يهوديا ويهودية" ، قال ابن عمر: ولقد رايته يجانئ عنها بيده.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a Jewish man and a Jewish woman stoned. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I saw that man trying to protect the woman with his hand.

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ايوب ، قال: سمعت نافعا ، يقول: سمعت ابن عمر ، يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ما حق امرئ مسلم له مال يوصى فيه، ثم ياتي عليه ليلتان إلا ووصيته مكتوبة عنده" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not befitting for any Muslim who has property about which a will can be made, that two nights should pass without his will being written and kept with him."

حدثنا سفيان ، حدثنا ايوب ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا كفر الرجل اخاه، فقد باء بها احدهما" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person calls his brother a disbeliever, then that (disbelief) returns to one of the two."

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ايوب ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا يسافر بالقرآن إلى ارض العدو، لا يناله العدو" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not travel with the Qur'an to the land of the enemy, lest the enemy should get hold of it (and disrespect it)."

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ايوب ، عن نافع ، ان ابن عمر اقام الصلاة بضجنان في ليلة مطيرة، ثم قال: صلوا في رحالكم , كان صلى الله عليه وسلم يامر مناديه في الليلة المطيرة، او الليلة الباردة ذات الريح فينادي:" الا صلوا في رحالكم" .
Nafi’ narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) gave the iqamah for prayer at the place of“Dajnan”on a rainy night, then he said: You people should perform the prayer at your place of residence. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), on a rainy night or on an extremely cold night with strong wind blowing, used to instruct his mu’adhdhin to announce:“Beware! Perform the prayer at your place of residence.”

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ايوب ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " صدقة الفطر صاع من شعير، او صاع من تمر" . قال ابن عمر: فلما كان معاوية عدل الناس نصف صاع بر، بصاع من شعير. قال نافع: وكان ابن عمر يخرج صدقة الفطر عن الصغير من اهله والكبير، والحر والعبد.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Sadaqat al-Fitr will be one sa’ of barley or one sa’ of dates." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), during his rule, considered half a sa’ of wheat to be equal to one sa’ of barley. Nafi’ narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to pay Sadaqat al-Fitr on behalf of every young and old, free and slave, in his household.
