Muwatta Imam Malik Riwayat Yahya
Chapter: Two Rak'ahs of Tawaf
Hadith Number: 816
Hazrat Urwah bin Zubair did not perform two Tawafs together in such a way that he would not offer two Rak'ahs of Tawaf between them; rather, after every seven circuits, he would perform two Rak'ahs near Maqam Ibrahim or at some other place.
Hadith Number: 816B1
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, was asked: If a person, considering it easier, performs two or three circuits (tawaf) and then offers two units of prayer after all of them, is this correct? He replied: No, he should offer two units of prayer after every seven circuits.

Hadith Number: 816B2
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said: A person began Tawaf and forgot, so he made eight or nine circuits. When he becomes aware, he should stop the Tawaf. Then he should pray two rak'ahs, and not consider the extra circuits, and he should not complete another Tawaf and then perform the two rak'ahs for both Tawafs together. Because the Sunnah is that the two rak'ahs for each Tawaf should be performed after it.

Hadith Number: 816B3
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said that if a person performs Tawaf and then offers two rak'ahs, but then doubts whether he completed seven circuits, he should complete the seven circuits and offer the two rak'ahs again, because the two rak'ahs should be performed only after completing the seven circuits.
Hadith Number: 816B4
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said that if a person's ablution breaks while performing tawaf or sa'i, he should perform ablution and start the tawaf anew, and complete the remaining rounds of sa'i. This is because sa'i is not invalidated by the breaking of ablution, but when starting sa'i, one should be in a state of ablution.

Prayer After Fajr and Asr During Tawaf
Hadith Number: 817
Abdur Rahman bin Abdul Qari performed Tawaf of the Ka'bah with Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) after the Fajr prayer. When Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) had completed the Tawaf, he did not find the sun risen, so he mounted (his camel) until he made the camel sit at Dhi Tuwa, and there he performed two rak'ahs of Tawaf.

It is narrated from Abu Zubair Makki that I saw Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) performing Tawaf after the Asr prayer, then he would go to his chamber, and then I do not know what he used to do there.

Hadith Number: 819
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Zubair Makki that I saw the Ka'bah become empty of those performing tawaf; after the Fajr prayer and after the Asr prayer, no one would perform tawaf.
Imam Malik said that whoever started tawaf, then the call to prayer was given for Fajr or Asr prayer, he should perform the prayer with the Imam, and after the prayer, he should complete the tawaf, but he should not perform the two rak'ahs until the sun rises or sets, and if he performs them after the Maghrib prayer, then there is no objection.

Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said: If a person performs one tawaf after the Fajr or Asr prayer and delays the two rak'ahs until the sun rises, as Sayyiduna Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, did, or until the sun sets, then there is no harm in it. Now, he should perform the two rak'ahs of tawaf as soon as the sun sets or after the Maghrib prayer.

Farewell to the House (Kaaba)
Hadith Number: 820
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: No pilgrim should return from Makkah until he performs the Tawaf of the Ka'bah, because the last act of worship is to perform the Tawaf of the Ka'bah.
