Sunan Saeed bin Mansur
بَابُ تَفْسِيرِ سُورَةِ آلِ عِمْرَانَ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {اللهُ لا إِلَهَ إِلا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ}
Chapter: Interpretation of Surah Al-Imran—His saying, Exalted is He: {Allah—there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence.}
Hadith Number: 491
نا هشيم , قال: اخبرني ابو الاشهب، عن ابي رجاء العطاردي، انه كان يقرا كذلك.
Abu Raja’ Ataridi (may Allah have mercy on him) also used to recite it in the same way: ﴿الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ﴾.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْـزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَاءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَاءَ تَأْوِيلِهِ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلا اللهُ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَا وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلا أُولُو الأَلْبَابِ}
His saying, Exalted is He: {It is He who has sent down to you the Book; in it are verses that are precise—they are the foundation of the Book—and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allah. But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding.}
Hadith Number: 492
نا حماد بن يحيى الابح ، قال: نا عبد الله بن ابي مليكة ، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها، قالت: تلا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: هو الذي انزل عليك الكتاب منه آيات محكمات هن ام الكتاب واخر متشابهات فاما الذين في قلوبهم زيغ سورة البقرة آية 7-7 , قال:" فإذا رايتم الذين يجادلون فيه، فهم اولئك، فاحذروهم" .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: ﴿He it is Who has sent down to you the Book; in it are verses that are clear, they are the foundation of the Book, and others are ambiguous. As for those in whose hearts is deviation﴾ up to ﴿And none will remember except men of understanding﴾, then he said: When you see those who argue about this verse, then they are the ones whose misguidance has been mentioned, so beware of them.

Hadith Number: 493
نا نا حديج بن معاوية ، عن ابي إسحاق ، عن عبد الله بن قيس ، عن ابن عباس : منه آيات محكمات هن ام الكتاب سورة آل عمران آية 7، قال:" ثلاث آيات من سورة الانعام": قل تعالوا اتل ما حرم ربكم عليكم سورة الانعام آية 151 .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The verse ﴿مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ﴾ refers to three verses from Surah Al-An'am: ﴿قُلْ تَعَالَوْا أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ﴾.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ
His saying, Exalted is He: {And Allah knows what she delivered.}
Hadith Number: 494
نا عيسى بن يونس، قال: انا الاعمش، عن عمارة بن عمير , قال: كنا جلوسا مع يحيى بن وثاب، فذكرنا هذه الآية: والله اعلم بما وضعت سورة آل عمران آية 36، وجاء الاسود بن يزيد في إزار ورداء، وعمامة، فقام يصلي في إزاره، وردائه ونعليه، فقلنا: ايكم يقوم إليه فيساله؟، فقال يحيى:" انا" فاتاه، فساله، ثم اقبل إلينا، وقال:" والله اعلم بما وضعت" .
‘Umara bin ‘Umair (may Allah have mercy on him) said: We were sitting with Yahya bin Wathab (may Allah have mercy on him) and we mentioned this verse: ﴿وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ﴾. Meanwhile, Aswad bin Yazid (may Allah have mercy on him) came wearing an izar, a rida’, and a turban, and began to pray in his izar, rida’, and shoes. We said: Who will go and ask him? Yahya said: I will go. Then he went to him and asked him, then returned to us and said: ﴿وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ﴾.

Hadith Number: 495
نا إسماعيل بن زكريا، وابو معاوية، عن الاعمش، عن عمارة بن عمير، عن الاسود، انه كان " يقرا: والله اعلم بما وضعت سورة آل عمران آية 36" .
Aswad bin Yazid, may Allah have mercy on him, used to recite: "And Allah knows best what she delivered."

Hadith Number: 496
نا نا هشيم، قال: نا حصين، عمن حدثه، عن ابن عباس ، انه كان " يقرا: والله اعلم بما وضعت سورة آل عمران آية 36".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) also used to recite ﴿وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ﴾ in the same way.

Hadith Number: 497
نا ابو عوانة، وهشيم، عن مغيرة، عن إبراهيم، انه كان " يقرا: بما وضعت مرفوع" .
Ibrahim, may Allah have mercy on him, used to recite ﴿بِمَا وَضَعَتْ﴾ in the same way.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا}
His saying, Exalted is He: {And Zakariya took care of her.}
Hadith Number: 498
نا سفيان، قال: قلت للاعمش: إن حميدا " يقرا: يا زكريا سورة مريم آية 7 جزما , فاعجبه" .
Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I said to A'mash that Humaid recites it with certainty ( «يَا زَكَرِيَّا» ), and A'mash liked this very much.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ}
His saying, Exalted is He: {And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses.}
Hadith Number: 499
نا هشيم، قال: نا إسماعيل بن سالم، عن سعيد بن جبير، في قوله عز وجل: وانبئكم بما تاكلون وما تدخرون في بيوتكم سورة آل عمران آية 49، قال:" كان عيسى ابن مريم يقول للغلام في الكتاب:" إن اهلك قد خبئوا لك كذا وكذا"، فذلك قوله: وما تدخرون سورة آل عمران آية 49 .
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Isa (peace be upon him) used to say to his disciple, "Your family is hiding this and that for you," and this is what Allah the Exalted has said: ﴿وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ﴾.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَى عِنْدَ اللهِ كَمَثَلِ آدَمَ خَلَقَهُ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ * الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكَ فَلا تَكُنْ مِنَ الْمُمْتَرِينَ * فَمَنْ حَاجَّكَ فِيهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْا نَدْعُ أَبْنَاءَنَا وَأَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَنِسَاءَنَا وَنِسَاءَكُمْ وَأَنْفُسَنَا وَأَنْفُسَكُمْ ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَلْ لَعْنَتَ اللهِ عَلَى الْكَاذِبِينَ}
His saying, Exalted is He: {Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was. * The truth is from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters. * Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you—say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars [among us]."}
Hadith Number: 500
نا هشيم ، قال: نا مغيرة ، عن الشعبي ، قال: لما عرض رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الملاعنة على اهل نجران، قبل ذلك منه السيد والعاقل، فرجعا إلى رجل منهم كان نجيبا , فقال لهما: ما صنعتما شيئا، والله لئن كان نبيا، لا يعصيه الله فيكم، وإن كان ملكا، فقالا له: ما ترى؟، قال: ارى ان تغدوا، فإنه يغدو لميعادكما، فإذا غدا عليكما، فإنه سيعرض عليكما الملاعنة، فإذا عرض ذلك عليكما، فقولا له: نعوذ بالله، واغدوا، وغدا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اخذ بيد حسن، وحسين يتبعه، وفاطمة تمشي من خلفه، فقال لهما:" هل لكما في الامر الذي انطلقتما عليه من الملاعنة؟" , فقالا: نعوذ بالله، قال: فردد ذلك عليهما، فقالا: نعوذ بالله، مرتين، او ثلاثا، فقال لهما:" هل لكما في الإسلام ان تسلما ويكون لكما ما للمسلمين وعليكما ما على المسلمين؟" , فلم يقبلا ذلك وكرهاه، فقال لهما:" هل لكما في الجزية تؤديانها، وانتم صاغرون كما قال الله عز وجل؟" , فقبلا ذلك، وقالا: لا طاقة لنا بحرب العرب .
When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to engage in Mubahala with the people of Najran, their chiefs, Sayyid and Aqib, decided to consult a pious man. They went to a pious man, who said to them: "If he is a Prophet, Allah will not turn away his word, and if he is a king, he will prevail over you." Then that pious man said: "I advise you to go and meet the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and when he proposes Mubahala, seek refuge with Allah." After that, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to them with his grandsons Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) and his daughter Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), and said: "Should I offer you to accept Islam instead of engaging in Mubahala over this matter?" But they refused and said that they did not have the strength to confront this matter. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke to them about paying Jizya, and they agreed to it, because they did not have the ability to fight the Arabs.
