Sunan Saeed bin Mansur
الْآيَةُ (143) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَلَمَّا جَاءَ مُوسَى لِمِيقَاتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُ رَبُّهُ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي أَنْظُرْ إِلَيْكَ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: {وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ}
Verse (143) His saying, Exalted is He: {And when Moses came at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, "My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You"} to His saying: {And I am the first of the believers}
Hadith Number: 961
نا مروان بن معاوية، قال: نا عمر بن حمزة العمري، قال: سمعت محمد بن كعب القرظي، قال: " قيل لموسى عليه السلام: ماذا شبهت كلام ربك عز وجل مما خلق؟. قال: الرعد . قال عمر: قال رجل: قال محمد: الرعد الساكن".
Muhammad bin Ka'b al-Qurazi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It was asked of our master Musa (peace be upon him), "Among the creatures, what did you find Allah the Exalted's speech to be similar to?" He replied: "To thunder." 'Umar bin Hamzah al-'Umari said: A man said: Muhammad bin Ka'b al-Qurazi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "To silent thunder."

Hadith Number: 962
نا هشيم، قال: نا مغيرة، عن الشعبي، قال: سمعت الربيع بن خثيم ," يقرا: جعله دكاء سورة الكهف آية 98 , ممدودا" .
Shu'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard Rabi' bin Khuthaym (may Allah have mercy on him) reciting ﴿جَعَلَهُ دَكَّاءَ﴾ with a long madd (prolongation).

الْآيَةُ (145) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَكَتَبْنَا لَهُ فِي الأَلْوَاحِ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: {سَأُرِيكُمْ دَارَ الْفَاسِقِينَ}
Verse (145) His saying, Exalted is He: {And We wrote for him on the tablets} to His saying: {I will show you the home of the defiantly disobedient}
Hadith Number: 963
نا عمرو بن ثابت، عن ابيه، عن سعيد بن جبير، في قوله عز وجل: ساريكم دار الفاسقين سورة الاعراف آية 145 قال: " رفعت لموسى حتى نظر إليها" .
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding the statement of Allah the Exalted: ﴿سَأُرِيكُمْ دَارَ الْفَاسِقِينَ﴾: The town was raised before Musa (peace be upon him) until he saw it.

الْآيَتَانِ (156 وَ 157) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَاكْتُبْ لَنَا فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدْنَا إِلَيْكَ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: {أُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ}
Verses (156 and 157) His saying, Exalted is He: {And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned back to You} to His saying: {It is those who are the successful}
Hadith Number: 964
نا نا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم، قال: نا خالد، عن ابي العريان، قال: قال ابن عباس , في قوله عز وجل: واكتب لنا في هذه الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة إنا هدنا إليك سورة الاعراف آية 156 قال:" فلم يعطها موسى، قال عذابي اصيب به من اشاء ورحمتي وسعت كل شيء إلى قوله: اولئك هم المفلحون سورة الاعراف آية 156 - 157" .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding Allah the Exalted’s statement:“And write for us in this world good and in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned to You”(__QUR_N__): This supplication was not granted to Musa (peace be upon him), rather Allah the Exalted said:“My punishment—I afflict with it whom I will, but My mercy encompasses all things”(__QUR_N__), until He said:“Those are the successful”(__QUR_N__).

Hadith Number: 965
نا ابو معاوية، عن موسى بن قيس، عن مجاهد، في قوله عز وجل: ويضع عنهم إصرهم سورة الاعراف آية 157 , قال: " عهودا كانت عليهم" .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding Allah the Exalted’s statement:“And removes from them their burden”: These were the covenants and pledges that were obligatory upon them.

الْآيَةُ (169) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {فَخَلَفَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ وَرِثُوا الْكِتَابَ يَأْخُذُونَ عَرَضَ هَذَا الأَدْنَى وَيَقُولُونَ سَيُغْفَرُ لَنَا} الْآيَةَ
Verse (169) His saying, Exalted is He: {And there followed them successors who inherited the Scripture [while] taking the commodities of this lower life and saying, "It will be forgiven for us"} the verse
Hadith Number: 966
نا فضيل بن عياض، عن منصور، عن سعيد بن جبير، في قوله عز وجل: ياخذون عرض هذا الادنى ويقولون سيغفر لنا سورة الاعراف آية 169، قال:" يعملون بالذنوب، ويقولون: سيغفر لنا" .
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding the statement of Allah the Exalted: ﴿يَأْخُذُونَ عَرَضَ هَٰذَا الْأَدْنَىٰ وَيَقُولُونَ سَيُغْفَرُ لَنَا﴾: They commit sinful deeds and say, "We will be forgiven."

الْآيَةُ (172) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِذْ أَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ مِنْ ظُهُورِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَأَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالُوا بَلَى شَهِدْنَا}
Verse (172) His saying, Exalted is He: {And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam—from their loins—their descendants and made them testify of themselves, [saying to them], "Am I not your Lord?" They said, "Yes, we have testified"}
Hadith Number: 967
نا عتاب بن بشير، قال: نا خصيف، عن مجاهد، وسعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس ، في قوله عز وجل: وإذ اخذ ربك من بني آدم من ظهورهم سورة الاعراف آية 172 قال:" اخذ من النبيين كلهم قبل ان يخلقوا"، قال:" اخذ النطف من صلب آدم , فراى منها نطفة تتلالا، قال: اي رب، اي بني هذا؟ قال: هذا ابنك داود، قال: اي رب، كم جعلت له؟ , قال: ستين سنة، قال: اقللت له، قال: فاعطه من سنينك، فإني جعلت لك الف سنة، فاعطاه اربعين سنة، فلما حضر اجل آدم، قال: رب اليس جعلت لي الف سنة، قال الله عز وجل: اليس قد جعلت من سنينك اربعين سنة لداود، فعند ذلك امر الله عز وجل بالكتاب والشهود والبينة" .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding Allah the Exalted’s statement: ﴿And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam—from their loins﴾: Allah the Exalted took a covenant from all the Prophets even before their birth. He said: Allah the Exalted extracted drops of semen from the back of Adam (peace be upon him), and Adam (peace be upon him) saw among them a shining drop. He said: O my Lord! Who is this among my children? Allah the Exalted said: This is your son Dawud. Adam (peace be upon him) said: O Lord! How long a life have You allotted for him? He said: Sixty years. He said: O Lord! That is little; give him from my lifespan, for I have allotted for myself a lifespan of one thousand years. So Adam (peace be upon him) gave forty years from his own life to Dawud (peace be upon him). Then when the time of Adam’s (peace be upon him) death came, he said: O Lord! Did You not allot for me a lifespan of one thousand years? Allah the Exalted said: Did you not give forty years from your lifespan to Dawud? Then Allah the Exalted decreed the command of writing, witnesses, and proof.

Hadith Number: 968
نا عبد العزيز بن محمد، قال: اخبرني هشام بن سعد، عن شيبة بن نصاح، قال: سالت سعيد بن المسيب، عن العزل، فقال:" إن الله عز وجل لما خلق آدم اكرمه كرامة لم يكرمها احدا من خلقه، اراه من هو كائن من صلبه إلى يوم القيامة، وإن يكن مما اراه الله إياه يكن , فلا عليك ان لا تفعله" .
I asked Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) about 'azl, that is, withdrawing the semen during intercourse, so he replied: When Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, created our master Adam (peace be upon him), He granted him such honor that He did not grant to any of His creation, and He showed him all the people who would be born from his loins until the Day of Resurrection. Then He said: Whatever Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, showed Adam (peace be upon him) will certainly come to pass, therefore, even if you do not practice 'azl, there is no harm.

Hadith Number: 969
نا عبد العزيز بن محمد ، قال: نا ربيعة ، عن محمد بن يحيى بن حبان ، عن ابن محيريز ، عن ابي سعيد الخدري ، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يسال عن العزل، فقال:" لا عليكم ان لا تفعلوا، إن تكن مما اخذ الله منها الميثاق، فكانت على صخرة لنفخ فيها الروح" .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) being asked about 'azl, that is, withdrawing the semen during intercourse. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no harm if you do not do it. If that thing from which Allah the Exalted has taken a covenant is to be, then even if it is on a stone, Allah the Exalted will put a soul into it.

الْآيَةُ (187) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: {يَسْأَلُونَكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَفِيٌّ عَنْهَا قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللهِ}
Verse (187) His saying, Exalted is He: {They ask you about the Hour: when is its arrival?} to His saying: {They ask you as if you are familiar with it. Say, "Its knowledge is only with Allah"}
Hadith Number: 970
نا نا سفيان، عن عمرو بن دينار، قال: كان ابن عباس يقرا: كانك حفي بها" .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to recite this verse as: «كَأَنَّكَ حَفِيٌّ بِهَا» .
