Sunan Saeed bin Mansur
بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي ابْنَةِ الْأَخِ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ
Chapter: What is reported regarding the daughter of a brother through breastfeeding
Hadith Number: 987
نا نا خالد بن عبد الله، عن مغيرة، عن إبراهيم، ان رجلا اوجرته امراته او سعطته من لبنها، فاتوا ابا موسى الاشعري، فقال:" حرمت عليه". ثم اتوا عبد الله بن مسعود ، فقال: " لا رضاع بعد حولين، إنما الرضاع ما انبت اللحم وانشز العظم" . قال ابو موسى:" لا تسالوني , او لا ينبغي ان تسالوني , عن شيء ما دام هذا الحبر بينكم".
A man took something from his wife's milk through his nose or throat. Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "That woman has become forbidden to him." But Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "There is no consideration for suckling after two years; suckling is only that which strengthens the bone and grows the flesh." Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "As long as this scholar (Abdullah bin Mas'ud) is present, do not ask me anything."

Hadith Number: 988
نا ابو معاوية، نا محمد بن عمرو بن علقمة الليثي، عن يزيد بن عبد الله بن قسيط، قال: سالت ابا سلمة بن عبد الرحمن، وابا بكر بن سليمان بن ابي حثمة، وسعيد بن المسيب، وعطاء بن يسار " عن لبن الفحل، فكلهم لا يرى به باسا" .
Hazrat Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman, Abu Bakr bin Sulaiman, Saeed bin Musayyib, and Ata bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on them) were asked, and all of them said: "There is no harm in the milk of a stallion (male animal)."

Hadith Number: 989
نا يعقوب بن عبد الرحمن ، عن عبد الرحمن بن حرملة ، قال: سمعت سعيد بن المسيب , يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " يحرم من الرضاع ما يحرم من الولادة" .
Hazrat Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prohibition (of marriage) due to suckling is the same as the prohibition due to lineage."

Hadith Number: 990
نا سفيان ، عن إسماعيل بن امية ، عن ابن ابي مليكة ، عن عقبة بن الحارث , قال: اتيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقلت: إني تزوجت ابنة ابي إهاب، وإن امراة زعمت انها ارضعتنا. فاعرض عنه، ثم اتاه من الشق الآخر فاعرض عنه، ثم اتاه من قبل وجهه، فقلت: يا رسول الله، إنها سوداء. قال:" كيف وقد قيل" .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "I have married the daughter of Abi Ihab, and a woman claims that she has breastfed both of us." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turned away from him. Uqbah came from the other side, but he turned away again. Then he came from the front and said: "O Messenger of Allah! That woman is black." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When it has been said (that she has breastfed you), (then the marriage is not permissible)."

Hadith Number: 991
Ibn Tawus narrates from his father, who said: "In the matter of breastfeeding, the testimony of a woman is accepted, even if she is black."

Hadith Number: 992
نا نا هشيم، انا ابن ابي ليلى، والحجاج، عن عكرمة بن خالد المخزومي، ان عمر بن الخطاب , اتي في امراة شهدت على رجل وامراته انها ارضعتهما، فقال:" لا، حتى يشهد رجلان او رجل وامراتان" .
Hashim narrated from Ibn Abi Layla and Hajjaj, from Ikrimah bin Khalid Makhzumi, that a woman was brought before Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) who testified about a man and his wife that she had breastfed both of them. So Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "No, not unless two men or one man and two women testify."

Hadith Number: 993
نا نا سفيان، عن وهب بن عقبة , ولد في زمن عثمان , ان امراة شهدت على رضاع، فقالت: ارضعت رجلا وامراته. فقال عثمان بن عفان:" تحلف عند الكعبة , فلما حملت على ذلك رجعت" .
It is narrated from Wahb bin Uqbah (who was born in the time of Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman gave testimony regarding breastfeeding, saying: I breastfed a man and his wife. So Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "She should swear an oath by the Ka'bah." But when she was pressed hard, she retracted.

Hadith Number: 994
نا هشيم، قال: انا يونس، وانا منصور، عن الحسن في المراة إذا شهدت على رجل وامراته انها ارضعتهما، قال مرة:" إن كانت مرضية" , وقال مرة: " إن كانت عدلا استحلفت بالله انها ارضعتهما، فإن حلفت فرق بينهما" . قال هشيم: ولا يؤخذ به.
Yunus and Mansur narrated from Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) that when a woman testifies about a man and his wife that she has breastfed both of them, Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) once said: "If she is trustworthy." And on another occasion he said: "If she is just, then she should be made to swear by Allah that she has breastfed them; if she takes the oath, then separation should be made between the two of them." Hushaym said: "We do not act upon this."

Hadith Number: 995
نا هشيم، انا يونس، عن الحسن ," انه كان لا يرى باسا ان يسترضع الرجل لولده اليهودية والنصرانية والفاجرة" .
It is narrated from Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) that he used to say: "A man can have his child breastfed by a Jewish woman, a Christian woman, or an immoral (bad) woman."

Hadith Number: 996
نا هشيم، انا مخبر، عن إبراهيم، مثله، غير انه لم يذكر الفاجرة.
A narration from Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) is also reported in the same way, except that he did not mention "Fajirah".
