Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Truthful and Trusted (Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him) narrated to us from his Lord that Allah Almighty said: "I reward a good deed tenfold or even more, and I recompense an evil deed only onefold or I may even forgive it. (O My servant!) If you come to Me with sins nearly as much as the earth, I will grant you forgiveness just as great, provided that you did not associate anyone with Me."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When any one of you perfects his Islam, then every good deed he does is written for him as tenfold up to seven hundredfold, and every bad deed is written as only one bad deed, (and this continues) until he dies and meets Allah, the Exalted."

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When a person accepts Islam and his Islam becomes good, then whatever good deed he had done, Allah Almighty writes it down (and preserves it), and whatever sin he had committed is erased. Then (after that, from Allah Almighty) the further reward is such that one good deed takes the form of ten to seven hundred times, and as for the matter of a sin, it remains only one, unless Allah Almighty also forgives it."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Azza Huzali رضي الله عنه, he says that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "When Allah Almighty intends for a servant to die in a certain region of the earth, He creates a need (as an excuse) for him to go to that (place)."

State of the heavens during revelation
Numbering by, Al-Albani: 1293, Fiqh-based: ,84
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When Allah Almighty speaks to reveal something, the inhabitants of the heavens hear a sound like the clanging of a chain being dragged over a smooth stone, and they fall unconscious. They remain in this state until Gabriel arrives. When he comes, the fear is removed from their hearts. They ask: O Gabriel! What did your Lord say? He replies: He spoke the truth. (Upon hearing this) they also say: He spoke the truth, He spoke the truth.

It is narrated from Ali bin Hussain that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says: An Ansari companion told me that he was sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) one night, when a star shot and fell, and because of it, light spread. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked them: "What did you used to say about such a star in the days of ignorance?" They said: (The real situation) Allah and His Messenger know best. We used to say: Tonight, a great man has been born or has died. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Stars do not fall because of anyone's death or life. (In reality) when Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, makes a decision, the bearers of the Throne glorify Him, then the angels of the lower heaven begin to glorify Allah, until the angels of the lowest heaven also become engaged in glorification. Then the angels of the (seventh) heaven ask the bearers of the Throne: What did your Lord say? They reply: He said such and such. In this way, the angels of one heaven ask those of the other, and the matter continues until it reaches the lowest heaven. (When the matter of Allah's decision reaches the lowest heaven,) the jinn snatch it and try to convey it to their (satanic) allies. (To burn them) stars are thrown at them. (Sometimes they are burned and sometimes they escape.) Whatever they hear from there is true, but along with it, they fabricate many lies and add from themselves."
