The Prophet’s (SAW) return from the Battle of Ahzab and the siege of Banu Qurayzah
Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): The Banu Qurayza came down from their fortress agreeing to the decision of Sa'd bin Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent someone to Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him). He came riding on a donkey. When he approached the mosque, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the Ansar, "Stand up for your leader or your elder (i.e., help him dismount)." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said (to Sa'd, may Allah be pleased with him), "These disbelievers have come down to your decision (what do you decide about them?)." Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "Those among them who are capable of fighting should be killed, and their children and women should be taken captive." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You have given the same judgment as Allah's command, or as the command of the King (i.e., Allah)."
About the Battle of Dhat al-Riqa’
Narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he participated in a jihad towards Najd with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned, he also returned with him, and they stopped for noon in a forest where there were many thorny trees. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) dismounted there, and the people dispersed throughout the forest and rested in the shade of the trees. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) rested under a dense acacia tree and hung his sword on it. Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We had barely slept for a short while when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called out to us. We came to him and saw that a Bedouin was sitting with him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "He drew my sword while I was sleeping. Meanwhile, I woke up and saw the naked sword in his hand. He began to say to me, 'Now tell me, who can save you from my hand?' I replied, 'Allah can save me.' So here he is, now sitting." But the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not punish him.
Narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led his companions in the prayer of fear during his seventh expedition, that is, the expedition of Dhat al-Riqa.
Narrated Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him): We went out on an expedition with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and we had only one camel for six of us. We would take turns riding it. Our feet became wounded and my feet split open and my toenails fell off, so we would wrap our feet with strips of cloth. That battle was named Dhat ar-Riqa‘ (the battle of patches) for this reason (i.e., the battle of patches and rags), because we wrapped our feet with strips of cloth due to their being split open.
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Abi Hathmah (may Allah be pleased with him), who was present with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the battle of Dhat al-Riqa’, described the prayer of fear (i.e., the prayer performed in fear). One group formed a row with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and another group faced the enemy. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led those with him in one rak‘ah, then he stood while they (the followers) completed their prayer and then went to face the enemy. Then the other group came, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led them in the second rak‘ah, which was remaining for him, then he remained seated while they completed their prayer, and then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said the salam with them.
The battle of Banu Mustaliq (Muraysi’)
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, that:
We went out with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, to the battle of Banu Mustaliq, and we captured some Arab slave women, and we desired women, and it became difficult for us to remain without women. We considered coitus interruptus (azl) good and intended to practice it. Then we thought, since the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, is among us, why should we practice azl without asking him? We asked him, and he replied: "There is neither any benefit for you in practicing azl, nor any fear upon you. No soul that is to be born until the Day of Resurrection will remain uncreated (it will surely be born)."

The battle of Banu Anmar
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah Al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him): I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying on his mount during the battle of Anmar, his face was towards the east, and he was offering a voluntary prayer.
The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah and Allah’s saying:“Allah was pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you under the tree.”
Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) says: O people! You take the conquest mentioned in Surah Al-Fath to mean the conquest of Makkah, but we consider the pledge of Ridwan, which took place on the day of Hudaybiyyah, as the real victory. (The story is as follows:) We were fourteen hundred men with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and Hudaybiyyah is a well. We began to draw water from it until not a single drop was left. When this news reached the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he came there, sat at the edge of the well, asked for a vessel of water, performed ablution, rinsed his mouth, prayed, and then poured that water into the well. We waited for a little while, and then so much water gushed forth from the well that we and our animals all drank to our fill.
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): On the day of Hudaybiyyah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to us: "Today, you are the best among all the people of the earth." Then he said that we were one thousand four hundred men, and if I had eyesight, I would have shown you the place of that tree.
Sayyiduna Suwaid bin Nu'man رضي الله عنه, who was among the Companions of the Tree, narrates that during the Battle of Khaybar, only sattu (parched barley flour) was brought to the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم and the noble Companions رضي الله عنهم, so they chewed and ate only that.
