It is narrated from Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, a woman from the tribe of Khath'am came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), while Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). She said: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! The obligation of Hajj has become due upon my father from Allah, but he has become so old that he cannot even sit on a mount. If I perform Hajj on his behalf, will it be fulfilled?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes!" During this, Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) began to look at the woman repeatedly because she was very beautiful. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), seeing this, turned Sayyiduna Fadl's (may Allah be pleased with him) face to the other side.
