It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was leading the people in prayer on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage or the Conquest of Makkah. I and Fadl came riding on a donkey, we passed in front of a row, dismounted from it, left it to graze, and ourselves joined the row, but they did not break their prayer.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah's curse be upon them! They knew well that these two never used those arrows for dividing anything."
