It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) what is the ruling if a man has relations with his wife's slave woman. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If he forced the slave woman into this act, then she will become free and the man will be liable to pay her the equivalent of a dowry. And if this act was done with her consent, then she will remain his slave woman, but the man will still have to pay the equivalent of a dowry.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qabeesah bin Mukhaariq that when the verse "And warn your closest kindred" was revealed to the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), he climbed to the top of a mountain and called out: "O descendants of Abd Manaf, listen to the words of a warner! My example and yours is like that of a person who, upon seeing the enemy, goes out to warn his people and begins to call out 'Ya Sabahah!'"

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qabeesah that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Frightening birds to make them fly, taking omens from birds, and drawing lines on the ground are acts of idolatry.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qabeesah that once I took the responsibility of paying off someone’s debt, and in this regard, I went to the service of the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) with a request for assistance. The Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: We will pay this debt on your behalf and will take out that amount from the animals of charity. Then he said: Qabeesah, except for three situations, asking (begging) is not permissible in any case. The first is the person who becomes a guarantor for someone’s debt; for him, asking is permissible until he pays off that debt, then he should refrain from asking. The second is the person who is so needy that he is afflicted by hunger, and three trustworthy men from his people testify to his need or destitution; for him, too, asking is permissible until he finds some means of livelihood, then he should refrain from asking. And the third is the person upon whom a sudden calamity befalls and all his wealth is destroyed; for him, too, asking is permissible until he finds some means of livelihood, then he should refrain from asking. In any other case, asking is forbidden.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Karz bin Alqamah that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "Is there any limit to Islam?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Yes, when Allah intends good for any household among the Arabs and non-Arabs, He will admit them into Islam." The narrator asked, "Then what will happen?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After that, tribulations will spread like canopies." The questioner said, "By the will of Allah, this will never happen." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Why not? By the One in Whose hand is my soul, then you will begin to strike each other's necks like black snakes."
