حَدِيثُ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا
Hadith of Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 19945
حدثنا إسماعيل بن ابان الوراق ، حدثنا ابو بكر النهشلي ، عن محمد بن الزبير ، عن الحسن ، عن عمران بن حصين ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا نذر في غضب، وكفارته كفارة اليمين" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no vow in anger, and its expiation is the same as the expiation for an oath."

Hadith Number: 19946
حدثنا إبراهيم بن إسحاق الطالقاني ، حدثنا الحارث بن عمير ، عن حميد الطويل ، عن الحسن ، عن عمران بن حصين , ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لا جلب , ولا جنب , ولا شغار في الإسلام، ومن انتهب، فليس منا" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no basis in taking the best animals in zakat, or in evading the payment of zakat through tricks and excuses, or in injuring animals with spears. And whoever commits looting is not one of us.

Hadith Number: 19947
حدثنا هاشم , وعفان , قالا: ثنا مهدي ، قال عفان : حدثنا غيلان ، عن مطرف ، عن عمران بن حصين ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، إما ان يكون قال لعمران، او لرجل وهو يسمع: " صمت سرر هذا الشهر؟" قال: لا , قال:" فإذا افطرت فصم يومين" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked someone, "Have you kept any fast at the end of this month of Sha'ban?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "When the fasts of Ramadan are finished, then keep a fast for one or two days."

Hadith Number: 19948
حدثنا محمد بن كثير اخو سليمان بن كثير، حدثنا جعفر بن سليمان ، عن عوف ، عن ابي رجاء العطاردي ، عن عمران : ان رجلا جاء إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: السلام عليكم، فرد عليه ثم جلس، فقال:" عشر" ثم جاء آخر، فقال: السلام عليكم ورحمة الله، فرد عليه ثم جلس، فقال:" عشرون" ثم جاء آخر، فقال: السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته، فرد عليه ثم جلس، فقال" ثلاثون" , حدثنا هوذة ، عن عوف ، عن ابي رجاء مرسلا، وكذلك قال غيره.
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "As-Salamu Alaikum." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied to him, and when he sat down, he said, "Ten." Another came and said, "As-Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also replied to him, and when he sat down, he said, "Twenty." Then a third came and said, "As-Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also replied to him, and when he sat down, he said, "Thirty (good deeds)."

Hadith Number: 19949
حدثنا هوذة عن عوف عن ابي رجاء مرسلا وكذلك قال غيره
Hawdhah narrated to us from Awf from Abu Raja’ as a mursal narration, and others have said likewise.

حكم دارالسلام: صحيح، وهذا مرسل
Hadith Number: 19950
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم ، حدثنا المبارك ، عن الحسن ، قال: اخبرني عمران بن حصين ، قال:" امر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بالصدقة، ونهى عن المثلة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would always encourage giving charity in his addresses and would forbid mutilation.

حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، الحسن لم يسمع من عمران، وقول الحسن: حدثني عمران خطأ من مبارك بن فضالة
Hadith Number: 19951
حدثنا هاشم ، حدثنا المبارك ، عن الحسن ، قال: ثنا عمران بن حصين ، قال:" اتي برجل اعتق ستة مملوكين عند موته، وليس له مال غيرهم، فاقرع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بينهم، فاعتق اثنين وارق اربعة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man, at the time of his death, freed all six of his slaves, and he had no wealth other than them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called those slaves, divided them into three groups, and drew lots among them. Then, the two whose names were drawn were set free, and the remaining four were kept as slaves.

Hadith Number: 19952
حدثنا سليمان بن حرب , وحسن بن موسى , قالا: ثنا حماد بن زيد ، حدثنا غيلان بن جرير ، عن مطرف ، قال:" صليت انا وعمران خلف علي بن ابي طالب، فكان إذا سجد كبر، وإذا رفع كبر، وإذا نهض من الركعتين كبر، فلما انصرفنا اخذ عمران بن الحصين بيدي، فقال: لقد صلى بنا هذا مثل صلاة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم , او قال: لقد ذكرني هذا صلاة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم" .
Mutarrif bin Shukhair says that I was with Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) in Kufa, when Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) led us in prayer. He would say Allahu Akbar every time he went into and rose from prostration. When the prayer was finished, Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said: He has led us in prayer just like the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray.

Hadith Number: 19953
حدثنا عفان , وبهز , قالا: حدثنا ابو عوانة ، حدثنا قتادة , قال بهز: عن قتادة، عن زرارة بن اوفى ، عن عمران بن حصين ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " خير امتي القرن الذي بعثت فيهم، ثم الذين يلونهم، ثم الذين يلونهم" , قال: والله اعلم اذكر الثالث ام لا؟" ثم ينشا قوم يشهدون ولا يستشهدون، وينذرون ولا يوفون، ويخونون ولا يؤتمنون، ويفشو فيهم السمن" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The best era of this Ummah is the one in which I have been sent, then the era of those who come after them, then there will come a people who will make vows but will not fulfill them, they will be treacherous and will not be trustworthy, they will be ready to give testimony though it will not be asked from them, and obesity will become common among them.

Hadith Number: 19954
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا ابان يعني العطار ، حدثنا يحيى بن ابي كثير ، عن ابي قلابة ، عن ابي المهلب ، عن عمران بن حصين : ان امراة من جهينة اتت نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم , فقالت له: إني اصبت حدا فاقمه علي، وهي حامل، فامر بها ان يحسن إليها حتى تضع، فلما وضعت جيء بها إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فامر بها، فشكت عليها ثيابها، ثم رجمها، ثم صلى عليها، فقال عمر: يا نبي الله، تصلي عليها وقد زنت؟! قال: " لقد تابت توبة لو قسمت بين سبعين من اهل المدينة لوسعتهم، وهل وجدت افضل من ان جادت بنفسها لله؟!" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman from the tribe of Juhaina confessed to adultery before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said that she was pregnant. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called her guardian and said to him: Treat her well, and when she gives birth to the child, inform me. He did so. Then, on the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the woman's body was wrapped well in clothes, and on the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), she was stoned to death. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered her funeral prayer. Seeing this, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! You stoned her and are also offering her funeral prayer? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: She has repented with such a repentance that if it were distributed among seventy people of Madinah, it would be enough for them. And have you seen anything superior to this, that she sacrificed her life for Allah?
