٣٧٠٨٩ - حدثنا بن نمير قال: حدثنا عبيد الله ابن عمر عن نافع (عن) (١) ابن عمر عن النبي ﷺ قال:"إذا مات احدكم عرض عليه مقعده بالغداة والعشي، إن كان من اهل الجنة فمن اهل الجنة، وإن كان من اهل النار فمن اهل النار، ويقال (له) (٢)] (٣): هذا مقعدك حتى يبعثك الله يوم القيامة" (٤).

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: When any one of you dies, his abode is presented to him morning and evening. If he is among the people of Paradise, then his abode from Paradise is shown to him, and if he is among the people of Hell, then his abode from Hell is shown to him, and it is said to him: "This is your abode," until the Day of Resurrection when Allah will raise you.

٣٧٠٩٠ - حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن محمد بن عمرو عن ابي سلمة عن عائشة قالت: قال رسول الله ﷺ (في مرضه) (١) (الذي مات فيه) (٢):"ما فعلت الذهب؟" فقلت: عندي يا رسول الله، قال:"ائتني بها"، فاتيته بها، وهي ما بين الخمسة إلى التسعة فجعلها في كفه، فقال: بها، ثم قال:"ما ظن محمد (٣) بها ان لو لقي الله وهذه عنده، انفقيها (يا) (٤) عائشة" (٥).

Narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in his illness in which he passed away, said: "What happened to the gold?" I said: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! It is with me." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring it to me." So I brought it and presented it to him (peace and blessings be upon him), and it was between five and nine (coins). Thus, he (peace and blessings be upon him) placed it in his palm and turned it over, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If this gold had remained with Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and he had met Allah, what would Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم be thought of? O Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)! Spend it."

٣٧٠٩١ - حدثنا حسين بن علي وابو اسامة عن زائدة عن (عبد) (١) الملك بن عمير عن ريعي عن ام سلمة قالت: دخل (٢) علي رسول الله ﷺ وهو ساهم الوجه، فظننت ان (ذاك) (٣) من تغير، فقلت: يا رسول الله اراك ساهم الوجه، امن علة؟ قال:"لا، ولكن السبعة الدنانير التي اتينا بها امس نسيتها في خصم الفراش (٤)، فبت ولم اقسمها" (٥).

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me while his blessed face was changed. I thought that this (perhaps) was due to some change, so I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon you)! I am seeing your face changed. Is this due to some illness? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No. But the reason is those seven dinars that were brought to us yesterday. I had placed them at the edge of the bed (and) forgot about them. Thus, I spent the night without distributing them."

٣٧٠٩٢ - حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن الزبير عن (عمر) (١) بن سعيد (بن) (٢) ابي حسين المكي قال: حدثني عبد الله بن ابي مليكة عن عقبة بن الحارث قال: انصرف رسول الله ﷺ من صلاة العصر سريعا، فتعجب الناس من سرعته، فخرج إليهم، (فعرف الذي في وجوههم) (٣) فقال:"ذكرت تبرا في البيت عندنا فخفت ان يبيت عندنا فامرت بقسمه" (٤).

(٤) صحيح؛ أخرجه البخاري (٨٥١)، وأحمد (١٦١٥١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Harith that he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) once finished the Asr prayer quickly and turned away, so the people were very surprised at his haste. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the people and noticed the astonishment on their faces. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A piece (of gold or something similar) that was kept at home came to my mind, and I feared that it might remain with us overnight. Therefore, I ordered it to be distributed."

٣٧٠٩٣ - حدثنا ابن نمير عن فضيل بن غزوان عن نافع عن ابن عمر ان رسول الله ﷺ اتى فاطمة فوجد على بابها سترا، فلم يدخل قال: وقلما كان يدخل إلا (بدا ⦗٢٧٥⦘ بها) (١)، فجاء علي فرآها (مهتمة) (٢) فقال: مالك؟ قالت: جاء إلي رسول الله ﷺ فلم يدخل (علي) (٣)، فاتاه علي فقال: (يا رسول الله) (٤) إن فاطمة اشتد عليها انك جئتها فلم تدخل عليها، فقال:"وما (انا) (٥) (و) (٦) الدنيا، او ما انا والرقم"، قال: فذهب إلى فاطمة (فاخبرها) (٧) بقول رسول الله ﷺ فقالت: قل لرسول الله ﷺ ما (تامرني) (٨)؟. قال:"قل لها فلترسل به إلى (بني) (٩) فلان" (١٠).

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her). He (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a curtain hanging at her door, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not enter inside. The narrator says that it was very rare that when he (peace and blessings be upon him) would come, he would not first go to Fatimah. When Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came home, he saw Fatimah worried and sad, so he asked, "What has happened to you?" She replied, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me but did not enter." Upon this, Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! This action of yours has been very hard on Fatimah, that you came to her but did not enter." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "What do I have to do with the world?" or he said, "What have I to do with decoration and adornment?" Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) then went to Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) and told her what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had said. Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "Ask the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) what he commands me to do." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Tell Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she should send it to Banu so-and-so."

٣٧٠٩٤ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن اشعث عن الحسن قال: جاء رسول الله ﷺ إلى بيت (ابنته) (١) فاطمة، فراى سترا (منشورا) (٢) فرجع، قال: فاتاه علي فقال: الم اخبر انك اتيت ابنتك فلم تدخل، قال: فقال:"افلم ارها سترت بيتها بنفقة في سبيل الله"، فقيل للحسن: وما كان ذلك الستر؟ قال: قرام اعرابي (ثمنه) (٣) اربعة (الدراهم) (٤)، كانت تنشره في مؤخر البيت (٥).

It is narrated from Hazrat Hasan that he says: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to the house of his daughter, Hazrat Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, and saw a curtain spread out. So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, turned back. The narrator says that then Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: I have heard that you came to your daughter's house but did not enter? The narrator says that upon this, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Did I not see that they had hung a curtain in their house for the sake of Allah?" Hazrat Hasan was asked: Which curtain was this? He replied: It was a curtain of the villagers, the price of which was four dirhams. Hazrat Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, used to spread it in the back part of the house.

٣٧٠٩٥ - حدثنا عبد الله بن إدريس عن هشام عن الحسن قال: كان ثمن مروط (نساء) (١) النبي ﷺ ستة ونحو ذلك (٢).

It is narrated from Hasan that he said: The price of the veils of the wives of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) was six (dirhams) or close to that.

٣٧٠٩٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن اسامة (بن زيد عن ابن ابي لبيبة) (١) عن سعد قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"خير الرزق ما يكفي، وخير (الذكر) (٢) الخفي" (٣).

It is narrated from Hazrat Sa’d that he says: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The best provision is that which suffices, and the best remembrance is the hidden remembrance.

٣٧٠٩٧ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا الاعمش عن عمارة بن قعقاع عن ابي (زرعة) (١) (٢) عمرو بن (جرير) (٣) عن ابي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"اللهم اجعل رزق آل محمد قوتا" (٤).

٣٧٠٩٨ - حدثنا ابو معاوية عن الاعمش عن (شمر) (١) عن مغيرة بن (سعد) (٢) ابن الاخرم (عن ابيه) (٣) عن عبد الله قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"لا تتخذوا الضيعة فترغبوا في الدنيا"، قال عبد الله: (و) (٤) براذان، ما براذان ⦗٢٧٧⦘ (و) (٥) بالمدينة (ما بالمدينة) (٦) (٧).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah, he says that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not build houses on land, lest you become desirous of the world." Hazrat Abdullah says: Razan, what is Razan, and Madinah, what is Madinah..
