Hadith Number: 2189
نا نا ابو شهاب، عن يحيى بن سعيد، عن القاسم بن محمد، عن عبد الله بن ربيعة، ان اباه ربيعة كان بدريا اوصى بجارية له ان لا يقربها بنوه، وقال:" لم اصب منها شيئا إلا اني نظرت منظرا اكره ان تنظروا منها" .
On his deathbed, Sayyiduna 'Amir bin Rabi'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) made a will that his sons should not go near his slave-girl because he had seen something in her which he disliked.

Hadith Number: 2190
نا فضيل بن عياض، عن هشام، عن ابن سرين، قال: قال مسروق في مرضه الذي مات فيه:" إن جاريتي لم يحرمها عليكم إلا اللمس والنظر" ، فكانت تقوم عليه.
Hazrat Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) said at the time of his death: "I have made my slave-girl forbidden for you only by touch and sight."

Hadith Number: 2191
نا ابو عوانة، عن إبراهيم بن محمد بن المنتشر، عن ابيه، ان مسروقا، قال لجاريته عند موته: " لم اصب منها إلا حرمتها على ولدي اللمس والنظر" .
Hazrat Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) said to his slave-girl at the time of his death: "I have taken nothing from you, but I have made you forbidden by touch and sight to my children."

Hadith Number: 2192
نا فضيل، عن هشام، عن الحسن، قال: " إذا جردها الاب حرمها على الابن، وإذا جردها الابن حرمها على الاب" .
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If a father uncovers the slave woman, she becomes forbidden for the son, and if the son does so, she becomes forbidden for the father."

Hadith Number: 2193
نا سفيان، عن ابن ابي نجيح، عن مجاهد، قال: " يحرم الوالد على ولده ان يقبلها، او يضع يده على فرجها، او فرجه على فرجها، او يباشرها" .
Hazrat Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "It is forbidden for a father, regarding his son, that he kisses the slave-girl, or touches her private part, or places his own private part upon her, or has intercourse with her."

Hadith Number: 2194
ثنا جرير، عن مغيرة، عن إبراهيم، قال: " كانوا يرون القبلة واللمس يحرم الام والابنة" .
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "They used to consider kissing and touching a slave woman as a cause of prohibition (of marriage) with her mother and daughter."

ثنا جرير، عن القعقاع بن يزيد، قال: كانت لي جارية اطاها، وكانت لها بنية فوق الفطيم، فضممتها إلي وهي عريانة فوجدت في نفسي شهوة، فسالت الحسن، فقال:" لا تقرب امها" .
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If a person embraces the suckling daughter of a slave woman while she is naked and feels desire, then he should not go near that slave woman."

Hadith Number: 2196
ثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم، نا ابن ابي نجيح، عن مجاهد، قال: " إذا مس الرجل فرج الامة او مس فرجه فرجها حرمت على ابيه وابنه" .
Hazrat Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If a person touches the private part of a slave woman or places his own private part upon her, then that slave woman becomes forbidden for his father and son."

Hadith Number: 2197
ثنا ابو عوانة، عن قتادة، عن سعيد بن المسيب، في استبراء الامة إذا اشتراها الرجل، قال: " إن كانت لا تحيض يستبرئها في خمس واربعين، وإن كانت تحيض فحيضتين" .
Said bin Al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "A slave woman who does not menstruate, her 'istibra' (waiting period) should be forty-five days, and the one who menstruates, in two menstrual cycles."

Hadith Number: 2198
نا ابو عوانة، عن منصور، عن إبراهيم، قال: " تستبرا الامة بحيضة" .
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The waiting period ('istibra') of a slave-girl is completed with one menstrual cycle."
