It is narrated from Hazrat Muheesa bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) that he had a slave who was an expert in cupping, whose name was Nafi’ Abu Taybah. He came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked about the daily earnings of his slave. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not go near it at all. He repeated the same question before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Buy fodder for the camel that brings water with it, and feed it to your slave.

Haram bin Muhayyisah (narrates from his father) reports that the she-camel of Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) entered a garden and caused destruction in it, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) decided that during the day, the protection of the garden is the responsibility of its owners, and if at night an animal causes any damage, then the owner of the animal will be liable for that damage.

It is narrated from Hazrat Salamah bin Sakhr Bayazi (may Allah be pleased with him) that I was very fond of women, and I do not know any man who had as much intercourse with women as I did. Anyway, Ramadan came, so I made zihar from my wife until the end of Ramadan so that I would not go near her at night. I continued in this way until the day, and I did not find enough strength in myself to completely separate from her. One night, my wife was serving me when the cloth lifted from her thigh, and I had intercourse with her. When morning came, I presented myself before the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and narrated the whole incident. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Free a slave." I said, "By the One who sent you with the truth, I only own myself." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Alright! Fast for two consecutive months." I said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), this calamity that has befallen me is because of fasting." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Give charity and feed sixty needy people."

Rifa’ah bin Shaddad says: One day I was standing by the bedside of Mukhtar. When it became clear to me that he was a liar, by Allah! I intended to draw my sword and strike off his neck. But then I remembered a hadith which Hazrat Amr bin Al-Hamq (may Allah be pleased with him) had narrated to me, that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever grants safety to a Muslim for his life and then kills him afterwards, a banner of treachery will be given to him on the Day of Resurrection.
