تتمة مسند عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith Number: 24921
حدثنا عفان ، قال: حدثنا همام ، حدثنا هشام بن عروة ، قال: حدثني ابي ، ان عائشة حدثته: ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم" كان يرقد، فإذا استيقظ تسوك، ثم توضا، ثم صلى ثمان ركعات، يجلس في كل ركعتين فيسلم، ثم يوتر بخمس ركعات، لا يجلس إلا في الخامسة، ولا يسلم إلا في الخامسة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) would wake up at night after sleeping, he would use the miswak, perform ablution, and pray eight rak'ahs, sitting and saying salam after every two rak'ahs. Then he would pray five rak'ahs in such a way that he would sit only in the fifth rak'ah and say salam while sitting in it.

Hadith Number: 24922
حدثنا عفان ، قال: حدثنا ابو عوانة ، عن اشعث بن سليم ، عن عبد الله بن معقل المحاربي ، قال: سمعت عائشة , تقول:" نهانا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ان ننبذ في الدباء، والمزفت، والحنتم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from using nabidh in vessels called muzaffat, dubba, and hantam.

Hadith Number: 24923
حدثنا عفان ، قال: حدثنا عبد الواحد بن زياد ، قال: حدثنا صدقة بن سعيد الحنفي ، قال: حدثنا جميع بن عمير التيمي ، قال: انطلقت مع عمتي وخالتي إلى عائشة ، فسالتها: كيف كانت إحداكن تصنع لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا عركت؟ فقالت: " كان إذا كان ذلك من إحدانا، ائتزرت بالإزار الواسع، ثم التزمت رسول الله بثدييها، ونحرها" .
Jameeh bin Umair Ta’imi says that once I visited Hazrat Aisha in the company of my paternal and maternal aunts. My aunts asked her, "When any of you experienced menstruation, what would you do for the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم )?" She replied, "In such a situation, we would tie a wide lower garment, and then we could embrace the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) with our chest and bosom."

Hadith Number: 24924
حدثنا عفان ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، قال: يزيد الرشك اخبرني، عن معاذة ، عن عائشة ، انها سالتها: اكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي الضحى اربعا؟ قالت " نعم اربعا، ويزيد ما شاء الله" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to offer four rak'ahs of Duha prayer and would add to it as well.

Hadith Number: 24925
حدثنا عفان ، قال: حدثنا يزيد بن زريع ، قال: حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن ابي عتيق ، عن ابيه ، انه سمع عائشة تحدثه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" إن السواك مطهرة للفم، مرضاة للرب" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Miswak is a means of purification of the mouth and the pleasure of the Lord.

Hadith Number: 24926
حدثنا عفان ، قال: حدثنا ابو عوانة ، قال: حدثنا سليمان الاعمش ، عن إبراهيم ، عن الاسود ، عن عائشة ، قالت:" ما رايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صائما ايام العشر قط" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that I never saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) fasting in the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.

Hadith Number: 24927
حدثنا عفان ، قال: حدثنا يزيد بن زريع ، قال: حدثنا معمر ، عن الزهري ، عن عروة ، عن عائشة , قالت:" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في مرضه الذي قبض فيه، ينفث على نفسه صلى الله عليه وسلم بالمعوذات، فلما ثقل عن ذلك، جعلت انفث عليه بهن، وامسحه بيد نفسه" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite the Mu'awwidhat and blow over himself. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell ill with the illness of his passing, I would hold his blessed hand and recite these words, then pass the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) hand over his body, so that the blessing of his hand would also be included.

Hadith Number: 24928
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا ابو عوانة ، حدثنا إسماعيل السدي ، عن عبد الله البهي ، عن عائشة ، قالت: " ما كنت اقضي ما يكون علي من رمضان إلا في شعبان، حتى توفي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that I used to make up my missed fasts of Ramadan only in the month of Sha'ban until the Prophet (peace be upon him) passed away.

Hadith Number: 24929
حدثنا عفان ، قال: حماد يعني ابن سلمة ، قال: اخبرني عبد الله بن ابي مليكة ، قال: حدثني القاسم بن محمد ، عن عائشة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم تلا هذه الآية: هو الذي انزل عليك الكتاب منه آيات محكمات هن ام الكتاب واخر متشابهات فاما الذين في قلوبهم زيغ... سورة آل عمران آية 7 حتى فرغ منها، قال: " قد سماهم الله عز وجل، فإذا رايتموهم فاحذروهم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited this verse of the Holy Qur'an: "Allah is He Who has sent down to you the Book; in it are verses that are precise—they are the foundation of the Book—and others are ambiguous. As for those in whose hearts is deviation, they follow what is ambiguous thereof..." And he said: When you see those who argue about the Qur'anic verses, they are the ones whom Allah has meant, so beware of them.

Hadith Number: 24930
حدثنا قريش بن إبراهيم ، حدثنا المعتمر بن سليمان ، عن شبيب بن عبد الملك التيمي ، عن مقاتل بن حيان ، عن عمته عمرة ، عن عائشة ، انها قالت: " كنا ننبذ لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم غدوة في سقاء ولا نخمره، ولا نجعل له عكرا، فإذا امسى تعشى، فشرب على عشائه، فإن بقي شيء فرغته او صببته، ثم نغسل السقاء، فننبذ فيه من العشاء، فإذا اصبح تغدى، فشرب على غدائه، فإن فضل شيء صببته او فرغته، ثم غسل السقاء". فقيل له: افيه غسل السقاء مرتين؟ قال:" مرتين" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that in the morning we would prepare nabidh for the Prophet (peace be upon him) in a waterskin. We would neither let it become intoxicating nor let it form sediment. In the evening, when the Prophet (peace be upon him) would eat food, he would also drink from it. If any water was left, I would discard it or pour it out and wash the waterskin.
