Al-Fath al-Rabbani
بَابُ في بر الأولادِ وَالأقَارِبِ الْأَقْرَبِ فَالْاقْرَبِ اب مَا جَاءَ فِي نَمْرَةِ الأَوْلَادِ وَالتَّرْغِيْبِ فِي ادِيهِمْ وَالْعَطْفِ عَلَيْهِمْ
Chapter on dutifulness to children and close relatives, what has been narrated regarding the virtue of children, and encouragement towards kindness to them and compassion for them
Hadith Number: 9035
۔ وعنہ ایضا، قال: دخل عیینۃ بن حصن علٰی رسول اللٰہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم فرآہ یقبل حسنا او حسینا، فقال لہ: لا تقبلہ یارسول اللٰہ! لقد ولد لی عشرۃ ما قبلت احدا منھم، فقال رسول اللٰہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم: ((ان من لایرحم لایرحم۔))
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrates that Sayyiduna ‘Uyainah bin Hisn (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and saw that he (peace and blessings be upon him) was kissing Sayyiduna Hasan or Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them). He said: O Messenger of Allah! Do not kiss them; I have ten children and I have never kissed any of them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.

بَابُ التَّرْغِيبِ فِي اكْرَامِ الأَنَاتِ مِنَ الأَولادِ فَضْلِ تَرْبِيَتِهِنَّ وَالْعَطْفِ عَلَيْهِنَّ
Chapter on encouragement to honor daughters, the virtue of raising them, and compassion for them
Hadith Number: 9036
۔ عن عقبۃ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ، قال: قال رسول اللٰہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم: ((لا تکرھوا البنات فانھن المؤنسات الغالیات۔))
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not compel your daughters, for they are a source of comfort and are loving towards their husbands.

Hadith Number: 9037
۔ عن عکرمۃ، قال: کنت جالسا عند زید بن علی بالمدینۃ، فمر شیخیقال لہ شرحبیل ابوسعد، فقال: یاابا سعد، من این جئت؟ فقال: من عند امیرالمؤمنین، حدثتہ بحدیث، فقال: لان یکون ھٰذا الحدیث حقا، احب الیٰ من ان یکون لی حمر النعم، قال: حدث بہٖالقوم،قال: سمعتابنعباسیقول: قال رسول اللٰہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم: ((ما من مسلم تدرک لہ ابنتان، فیحسن الیھما ما صحبتاہ، او صحبھما، الا ادخلتاہ الجنۃ۔))
Ikrimah says: I was sitting with Zaid bin Ali in Madinah Munawwarah when an elder named Abu Sa’d Shurahbeel passed by. He said: O Abu Sa’d! Where are you coming from? He replied: From the Commander of the Faithful. I narrated a hadith to him and he said: If this hadith is truly authentic, then it is more beloved to me than red camels. Then he narrated that hadith to the people and said: I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrate that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever among the Muslims has two daughters who reach maturity, and he continues to treat them kindly as long as they remain with him or he remains with them, then they will cause him to enter Paradise.

Hadith Number: 9038
۔ عن ابی سعید الخدری رضی اللہ عنہ، قال: قال رسول اللٰہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم: ((لا یکون لاحد ثلاث بنات، او ثلاث اخوات، او بنتان، او اختان، فیتقی اللٰہ فیھن، ویحسن الیھن، الا دخل الجنۃ۔))
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever has three daughters or three sisters or two daughters or two sisters, and he fears Allah regarding their rights and treats them kindly, he will enter Paradise.

Hadith Number: 9039
۔ عن جابر بن عبد اللٰہ رضی اللہ عنہ، عن النبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نحوہ، وزاد: ((وجبت لہ الجنۃ البتۃ۔)) قال: قیل: یا رسول اللٰہ! فان کانت اثنتین؟ قال: ((وان کانت اثنتین۔)) قال: فراٰی بعض القوم ان لو قالوا لہ: واحدۃ، لقال واحدۃ۔
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: It is like the aforementioned hadith, except that these words are added in it: Then Paradise becomes absolutely obligatory for that person. Someone said: O Messenger of Allah! Even if there are two? He (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Even if there are two. Then people began to look at each other and thought that if the question had been asked about one, he (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) would have said: Even if there is one.

Hadith Number: 9040
۔ عن ثابت عن انس او غیرہ، قال: قال رسول اللٰہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم: ((من عال ابنتین او ثلاث بنات او اختین او ثـلاث اخوات، حتٰییمتن او یموت عنھن، کنت انا وھو کھاتین۔)) واشار باصبعیہ السبابۃ والوسطٰی۔
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) or from another companion that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever brought up two daughters, or three daughters, or two sisters, or three sisters and took responsibility for their necessary expenses until they passed away or he himself died, then I and that person will be as close as these two fingers. Along with this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) indicated with his index and middle fingers.

Hadith Number: 9041
۔ (وعنہ من طریق ثان) یحدث عن انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ، قال: قال رسول اللٰہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم: ((من کان لہ ثلاث بنات، وثلاث اخوات اتقی اللٰہ عزوجل واقام علیھن، کان معی فی الجنۃ ھٰکذا۔)) واشار باصابعہ الاربع۔
(Second chain) Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever has three daughters and three sisters, and he fears Allah regarding them and takes care of them, then he will be with me in Paradise like this. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also gestured with four fingers together.

Hadith Number: 9042
۔ عن سراقۃ بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ ان رسول اللٰہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم قال لہ: ((یاسراقۃ! الا ادلک علٰی اعظم الصدقۃ، او من اعظم الصدقۃ؟)) قال: بلٰییا رسول اللٰہ! قال: ((ابنتک مردودۃ الیک لیس لھا کاسب غیرک۔))
Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: O Suraqah! Shall I not guide you to the greatest charity? He said: Why not, O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Your daughter who is returned to you and has no one to provide for her except you.

Hadith Number: 9043
۔ عن عوف بن مالک رضی اللٰہ عنہ، قال: قال رسول اللٰہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم: ((من کن لہ ثـلاث بنات او ثـلاث اخوات، او بنتان، او اختان اتقی اللٰہ فیھن، واحسن الیھن حتٰییبن او یمتن کن لہ حجابا من النار۔))
Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever has three daughters, or three sisters, or two daughters, or two sisters, and he fears Allah regarding them and treats them kindly, until they separate from him or pass away, then they will be a veil for him from Hell.

Hadith Number: 9044
۔ عن ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ، قال: قال رسول اللٰہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم: ((من ولدت لہ ابنۃ فلم یئدھا، ولم یھنھا، ولم یؤثر ولدہ علیھا،یعنی الذکر، ادخلہ اللٰہ بھا الجنۃ۔))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever has a daughter born to him and he does not bury her alive, nor does he insult her, nor does he give preference to sons over her, then Allah Almighty will admit him into Paradise.
