Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) ascended the pulpit and said: Ameen, Ameen, Ameen. It was asked, O Messenger of Allah! When you ascended the pulpit, you said Ameen, Ameen, Ameen; what is the reason for this? The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Jibreel came to me and said: Whoever finds the month of Ramadan and is not forgiven, then let him enter Hell, so may Allah (distance him from His mercy), you say Ameen, so I said Ameen. When someone finds his parents or one of them and does not treat them well, and after dying enters Hell, then may Allah (distance him from His mercy), you say Ameen, so I said Ameen. (Then Jibreel said:) Whoever hears your mention and does not send blessings upon you, and after dying enters Hell, then may Allah (distance him from His mercy), you say Ameen, so I said Ameen.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:“May the nose of that person be rubbed in dust before whom my mention is made and he does not send blessings upon me. May the nose of that person be rubbed in dust who finds his parents in old age and they do not cause him to enter Paradise. May the nose of that person be rubbed in dust before whom the month of Ramadan comes and then that month passes before he is forgiven.”

Sayyiduna Imam Zain al-Abidin (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Imam Husayn, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the miser is the one in whose presence my mention is made and he does not send blessings upon me."

(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) This is the most authentic narration transmitted from Sayyiduna Imam Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him). Because at the time when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, Sayyiduna Imam Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) was one month short of seven years old. That is, he was born in the month of Sha'ban in the 4th year of Hijrah, and when he was six years and a few months old, he was memorizing many things in Arabic one after another.

Sayyiduna Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The most virtuous of your days is Friday. On this day Allah Almighty created Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him). On this day he passed away. On this day the first trumpet will be blown, and on this day the Resurrection will occur. So send abundant blessings upon me on this day, for your blessings will be presented before me." They asked: "How will our blessings be presented before you when you will have decayed?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“On the Day of Resurrection, the person closest to me will be the one who sent the most blessings (salat) upon me in the world.”

(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says: This narration contains evidence that on the Day of Resurrection, the closest to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) will be the experts of hadith, because no other group from this Ummah sends more blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) than these people.)

Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila narrates: Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me: Shall I not give you a gift? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us and we said: O Messenger of Allah! We have learned how to send peace upon you, so how should we send blessings upon you? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Say this: O Allah! Send blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and upon the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as You sent blessings upon the family of Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah! Send blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and upon the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as You sent blessings upon the family of Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah writes ten good deeds for him in return."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, there are some special angels of Allah Almighty who roam around. They convey the greetings (salam) of my Ummah to me."

Abdullah bin Abu Talhah narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Abu Talhah, may Allah be pleased with him): One day the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came, and he was happy. He said: An angel came to me and said: O Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), Allah Almighty says: Are you not pleased that whoever among My servants sends blessings upon you once, I will send mercy upon him ten times in return, and whoever sends peace upon you once, I will send peace upon him ten times in return? So I replied: Yes! O my Lord.

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us, and my wife said in a loud voice in your presence: O Messenger of Allah! Please supplicate for mercy for me and my husband. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: May Allah send mercy upon you and your husband.
