‘Amarah bin Khuzaymah says that we were sitting with Sayyiduna ‘Amr bin al-‘As (may Allah be pleased with him) on the occasion of Hajj or ‘Umrah, when suddenly a woman came, wearing bracelets and rings, and had spread her hand on the camel’s saddle. He said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in this very valley, and he said:“Just look, do you see anything?”We said: We see crows, among them is a crow with a red beak and red legs. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Only as many women will enter Paradise as the number of that crow among these crows.”

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When I looked into Paradise, I saw that the majority of its inhabitants were the poor, and when I looked into Hell, I saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women."

Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Shibl (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Indeed, «فساق» are the people of Hell.”It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! Who are «فساق» ? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“They are women.”A man said: O Messenger of Allah! Are they not our mothers, sisters, and wives? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Why not, but when they receive blessings, they are ungrateful, and when they are tested, they do not show patience.”

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not inform you about the people of Paradise? They are the weak and oppressed ones. Shall I not tell you about the people of Hell? They are the harsh and arrogant ones."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Shall I not inform you about the people of Paradise? They are those who are humble and weak. And the ill-tempered, arrogant, and proud people are the inhabitants of Hell."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Those inhabitants of Hell for whom Allah does not intend to remove from Hell, they will neither die nor live. But those inhabitants of Hell whom Allah intends to remove from there, He will cause them to die there, until they become (burnt and) like charcoal. Then permission will be granted for intercession on their behalf, and they will be taken out from there in groups and thrown into the rivers of Paradise, where they will grow as a seed grows in the flow of a flood." That is, they will come into existence very quickly.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah intends to show mercy to a nation, He causes its prophet to die before them, making him a forerunner and a means for them. And when He intends to destroy a nation, He destroys it through punishment during the life of its prophet and in his presence, because they are deniers of the prophet and disobedient to him, so he too is pleased at their destruction."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The people of Hell will weep so much (and shed so many tears) that if boats were to be sailed in them, they would float. Instead of tears of water, they will weep tears of blood."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the person among the people of Hell who will have the lightest punishment will be the one who will be made to wear two shoes of fire, due to the heat of which his brain will begin to boil."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, hot water will be poured over their (the people of Hell) heads, it will tear through the body until it reaches their stomachs, and whatever is inside the stomach will be expelled in such a way that it will flow out from their feet. This is «صهر» (melting) (which is mentioned in the Noble Qur'an), then they will be given the same form as they had before."
