It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Abi Qurad (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ablution, and his companions (may Allah be pleased with them) began to rub the water from his ablution on their bodies. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to them: "What made you do this?" They replied: The love of Allah and His Messenger. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever wishes to love Allah and His Messenger, or that Allah and His Messenger love him, then when he speaks, he should speak the truth; when something is entrusted to him, he should return it; and he should treat his neighbors and those he associates with kindly." Its chain is weak. It is narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.

Such-and-such woman is well-known for the scarcity of her prayers, fasts, and charity, and she gives only a few pieces of cheese in charity, but she does not harm her neighbors with her tongue." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "She is in Paradise." Its chain is authentic. Narrated by Ahmad and Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.

Certainly, do inform us about the best among our worst." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best among you is the one from whom good is expected and people are safe from his evil, while the worst among you is the one from whom no good is expected and people are not safe from his evil." (Tirmidhi, Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman) And Imam Tirmidhi said: This hadith is Hasan Sahih. Its chain is authentic. Narrated by Tirmidhi and Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.

Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah has distributed your character among you just as He has distributed your wealth among you. Indeed, Allah gives the world to every person, whether He likes him or dislikes him, but He gives religion only to the one whom He loves. Whoever Allah grants religion to, then (understand that) he is a beloved person of Allah. By the One in Whose hand is my soul! No servant can be a Muslim until his heart and his tongue become Muslim, and he does not become a believer until his neighbor is safe from his mischief." Its chain is weak.
