Mishkat al-Masabih
(احْفَظْ نَفْسَكَ مِنْ فَسَادِ القَرَابَةِ)
(Protect yourself from the corruption of kinship)
Hadith Number: 5041
5041 - وعنه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:"إياكم وسوء ذات البين ; فإنها الحالقة". رواه الترمذي.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Beware of sowing discord between two (parties, friends, relatives), for it destroys (the religion)." Its chain is Hasan, narrated by al-Tirmidhi.

قال الشيخ زبير على زئي:إسناده حسن
(مَنْ أَضَرَّ بِأَحَدٍ سَيُجَازَى)
(Whoever harms someone will be recompensed)
Hadith Number: 5042
5042 - وعن ابي صرمة - رضي الله عنه - ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:"من ضار ضار الله به ، ومن شاق شاق الله عليه". رواه ابن ماجه، والترمذي وقال: هذا حديث غريب.
It is narrated from Abu Surmah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever causes harm to a (Muslim), Allah will cause harm to him in return, and whoever puts someone in hardship, Allah will put him in hardship." Ibn Majah, Tirmidhi, and they said: This hadith is gharib. Its chain is weak. Narrated by Ibn Majah and Tirmidhi.

(مَنْ خَدَعَ مُسْلِمًا فَهُوَ مَلْعُونٌ)
(The one who deceives a Muslim is cursed)
Hadith Number: 5043
5043 - وعن ابي بكر الصديق - رضي الله عنه - قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:"ملعون من ضار مؤمنا او مكر به". رواه الترمذي وقال: هذا حديث غريب.
Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: "Cursed is the person who harms a believer or deceives him." Tirmidhi, and he said: This hadith is gharib. Its chain is weak. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi.

(مَنْ يَبْحَثُ عَنِ العُيُوبِ سَيُفْضَحُ نَفْسَهُ)
(The one who seeks faults will be disgraced himself)
Hadith Number: 5044
5044 - وعن ابن عمر - رضي الله عنهما - قال: صعد رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - المنبر، فنادى بصوت رفيع فقال:"يا معشر من اسلم بلسانه ولم يفض الإيمان إلى قلبه! لا تؤذوا المسلمين ولا تعيروهم، ولا تتبعوا عوراتهم ; فإنه من يتبع عورة اخيه المسلم يتبع الله عورته، ومن يتبع الله عورته يفضحه ولو في جوف رحله". رواه الترمذي.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ascended the pulpit and proclaimed loudly: "O people! Those of you who have accepted Islam with your tongues while faith has not yet entered your hearts, do not harm the Muslims, nor disgrace them, nor seek out their faults. For whoever seeks out the faults of his (Muslim) brother, Allah will pursue his faults, and whoever's faults Allah pursues, He will disgrace him even if he is in the midst of his house." Its chain is Hasan. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi.

(The worst form of usury)
Hadith Number: 5045
5045 - وعن سعيد بن زيد - رضي الله عنه - عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:"إن من اربى الربا الاستطالة في عرض المسلم بغير حق". رواه ابو داود، والبيهقي في"شعب الإيمان".
Saeed bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The gravest form of usury is to speak insolently about the honor of a Muslim." Its chain is authentic, narrated by Abu Dawood and Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.

(الَّذِينَ يَخْمُشُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ بِأَظْفَارٍ مِنْ نُحَاسٍ)
(Those who scratch their faces with copper nails)
Hadith Number: 5046
5046 - وعن انس - رضي الله عنه - قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:"لما عرج بي مررت بقوم لهم اظفار من نحاس يخمشون وجوههم وصدورهم، فقلت: من هؤلاء يا جبرئيل؟ قال: هؤلاء الذين ياكلون لحوم الناس ويقعون في اعراضهم". رواه ابو داود.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When my Lord took me on the Night Journey, I passed by people who had nails of copper with which they were scratching their faces and chests. I said: 'O Jibreel! Who are these people?' He said: 'These are the ones who used to eat the flesh of people (i.e., backbite them) and attack their honor.'" Its chain is authentic. Narrated by Abu Dawood.

(ثَلاثَةُ أَعْمَالٍ لَهَا ثَلاثُ عُقُوبَاتٍ)
(Three deeds with three punishments)
Hadith Number: 5047
5047 - وعن المستورد - رضي الله عنه - عن النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قال:"من اكل برجل مسلم اكلة فإن الله يطعمه مثلها من جهنم، ومن كسي ثوبا برجل مسلم ; فإن الله يكسوه مثله من جهنم، ومن قام برجل مقام سمعة ورياء ; فإن الله يقوم له مقام سمعة ورياء يوم القيامة". رواه ابو داود.
Mistawrid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he said: "Whoever eats a morsel because of (the backbiting of) a Muslim man, Allah will feed him its like from Hell, and whoever wears a garment because of (the backbiting of) a Muslim man, Allah will clothe him its like from Hell, and whoever stands in a place of fame and show-off, Allah will make him stand in a place of fame and show-off on the Day of Resurrection." Its chain is weak, narrated by Abu Dawood.

(حُسْنُ الظَّنِّ عِبَادَةٌ)
(Good assumption is an act of worship)
Hadith Number: 5048
5048 - وعن ابي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:"حسن الظن من حسن العبادة". رواه احمد، وابو داود.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Good expectation (of Allah) is part of good worship." Its chain is authentic; narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawood.

(رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ظَلَّ غَاضِبًا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ)
(The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, remained angry for more than three days)
Hadith Number: 5049
5049 - وعن عائشة - رضي الله عنها - قالت: اعتل بعير لصفية وعند زينب فضل ظهر، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لزينب:"اعطيها بعيرا"فقالت: انا اعطي تلك اليهودية؟! فغضب رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فهجرها ذا الحجة والمحرم وبعض صفر . رواه ابو داود. وذكر حديث معاذ بن انس:"من حمى مؤمنا"في"باب الشفقة والرحمة".
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Safiyyah’s (may Allah be pleased with her) camel became ill while Zainab (may Allah be pleased with her) had an extra mount. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Zainab (may Allah be pleased with her):“Give her (Safiyyah) a camel.”She said:“Should I give it to this Jewess!”The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) became upset and he refrained from her company for several days during Dhu al-Hijjah, Muharram, and a few days of Safar. Its chain is authentic, narrated by Abu Dawood. And the hadith narrated from Mu’adh bin Anas (may Allah be pleased with him):“Whoever protects the honor of a believer...”has already passed in the chapter of Compassion and Mercy.

(The perfection of faith of Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 5050
الفصل الثالث 5049 - عن ابي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:"راى عيسى ابن مريم رجلا يسرق فقال له عيسى: سرقت؟ قال: كلا، والذي لا إله إلا هو. فقال عيسى: آمنت بالله وكذبت نفسي". رواه مسلم.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) saw a man stealing, so Isa (peace be upon him) said to him: 'You have stolen.' He replied, 'By Him besides whom there is no true deity! I have not.' (Upon this) Isa (peace be upon him) said: 'I believe in Allah, and I deny my own self.'" Narrated by Muslim.
