Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, nothing will be placed in the believer’s scale heavier than good character, and Allah certainly does not like the one who is foul-mouthed and engages in obscene talk." (Tirmidhi), and he said: This hadith is Hasan Sahih, and Abu Dawood has narrated the first part. Its chain is authentic, narrated by Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood.

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Indeed, a believer, because of his good character, attains the rank of one who fasts and stands (in prayer) at night." Hasan, narrated by Abu Dawood.

Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Fear Allah wherever you are, and follow up a bad deed with a good one—it will erase it, and deal with people with good character." Hasan, narrated by Ahmad, al-Tirmidhi, and al-Darimi.

Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Shall I not inform you about those people upon whom the Fire of Hell is forbidden, or who are forbidden for the Fire of Hell? They are those who are easy-going, gentle, approachable, and soft-natured.”Ahmad, Tirmidhi, and he said: This hadith is Hasan Gharib. Its chain is Hasan, narrated by Ahmad and Tirmidhi.

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A believer is simple-hearted and generous, while a wicked person is deceitful and miserly." Its chain is weak; narrated by Ahmad, al-Tirmidhi, and Abu Dawood.

Makhool narrates: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A believer is gentle in temperament and dignified, like a camel with a nose-ring; when it is led, it follows, and when it is made to sit on a rock, it sits." Imam Tirmidhi narrated it as a mursal narration. Its chain is weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi.

Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he said: "A Muslim who mixes with people and is patient over their harm is better than the one who does not mix with people and is not patient over their harm." Sahih, narrated by Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.

Sahl bin Mu’adh narrates from his father that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Whoever controls his anger while he is able to act upon it, Allah will call him before all of creation on the Day of Resurrection and will let him choose whichever hur (maiden) he wishes.”Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood. And Imam Tirmidhi said: This hadith is gharib. Its chain is hasan. Narrated by Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood.

And in the narration of Abu Dawood, Suwaid bin Wahb narrated from a man among the children of the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him), who narrated from his father, he said: "Allah will fill his heart with peace and faith." And the hadith narrated from Suwaid: "Whoever gives up wearing beautiful clothes," is mentioned in the Book of Clothing. Its chain is weak, narrated by Abu Dawood.

Zaid bin Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, every religion has some distinguishing characteristics, and the distinguishing characteristic of Islam is modesty." Imam Malik has narrated it as a mursal narration. Its chain is weak, narrated by Malik.
