Urwah narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) came and sat near the chamber of Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) while she was performing prayer. Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) began to narrate a hadith and started saying: O lady of the chamber! Listen. When Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) completed her prayer, she said to me: O my nephew! Are you not amazed at this person and his manner of narration? Whenever the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke, if someone wanted to count (his words), he could count them (meaning the Prophet, peace be upon him, would speak slowly and clearly).
Imam Humaydi says: Sufyan did not hear this narration from Zuhri.

Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Some Jews came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Abu al-Qasim! "Sam 'alayk" (death be upon you). So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Alaikum" (upon you too). Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said to them: Rather, death be upon you and curse be upon you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Aisha! Allah Almighty loves gentleness in every matter." Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I submitted: O Messenger of Allah! Did you not hear what they said? They said: Death be upon you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "So I have said: Upon you too."

Imam Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) says: Sufyan sometimes used to say these words in this narration: "And upon you too." So when he was alerted to this, he omitted the letter "wa" (and).

Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: A man sought permission to enter upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Allow him to enter! He is the worst person of his family.”(At this point, the narrator is doubtful about a word.) When that person came into the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke to him gently. When the man left, I said: O Messenger of Allah! You had said something about him earlier, then you spoke to him gently. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“O Aisha! The worst person in status and rank before Allah on the Day of Resurrection will be the one whom people leave alone out of fear of his foul language.”Sufyan says: I said to Muhammad bin al-Muntazir: I have observed you, you always express doubt in this narration (i.e., you feel doubt about its wording).

Mother of the Believers, Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No wealth has ever benefited us as much as the wealth of Abu Bakr has benefited us."

Imam Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) says: It was said to Sufyan: Ma'mar has narrated this tradition from Sa'id, so he replied: We have only heard this narration from Zuhri, from 'Urwah, from Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her).

Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to my house and I had made a curtain of fine cloth on which there were pictures. When the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw it, the color of his blessed face changed. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) pulled it down harshly and said:“On the Day of Resurrection, the people who will receive the severest punishment from Allah will be those who try to imitate Allah’s creation.”

Sufyan says: When Abdur Rahman bin Qasim came to us, he narrated this tradition to us in a better way, in which there was more concession. He said: My father told me this, he heard Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrate: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came, and I had hung a curtain in my room which had pictures on it. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw it, he took it down. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the people who will receive the severest punishment from Allah will be those who compete with Him regarding His creation." The Mother of the Believers, Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), narrates: I cut it up and made one (the narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words) or two cushions from it.

Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: It was the practice of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) that when any person suffered from an illness, or developed a boil, or received a wound, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would place his finger in this manner—here Imam Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated this hadith by placing his finger on the ground—then he (peace and blessings be upon him) would lift it and say:“With the name of Allah, seeking blessing from the soil of our land, mixed with the saliva of one of us, so that, by the permission of our Lord, the sick may be cured.”

Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Abyssinians were displaying war tricks with their small spears, so I was watching them from between the ears and shoulders of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) until I myself moved back. Ya’qub bin Zaid, in his narration, has further added these words: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) further said:“Satan grabs the clothes of each one of them and says, ‘You watch,’ but when Umar came, the devils scattered here and there.”Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:“O Banu Arfidah! Continue your display so that the Jews and Christians may know that there is allowance in our religion.”Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Of the words they were uttering, I only remember this much, that they were saying,“Abul Qasim is pure, Abul Qasim is pure.”
