Hadith Number: 229
حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا الزهري ، قال: اخبرني عروة بن الزبير ، عن عائشة ، انها حدثته ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لا يحل لامراة تؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر، ان تحد على ميت فوق ثلاثة ايام إلا على زوج" . فقيل لسفيان: فإنها تحد عليه اربعة اشهر وعشرا؟ فقال سفيان: لم يقل لنا هذا الزهري في حديثه، إنما قاله لنا ايوب بن موسى في حديثه.
Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“It is not permissible for any woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for any deceased person for more than three days, except in the case of her husband, for whom the ruling is different.”Sufyan was asked: Should the woman mourn for her husband for four months and ten days? Sufyan said: Al-Zuhri did not mention these words in his narration before us; these words were mentioned before us in the narration of Ayyub bin Musa.

حدثنا سفيان ، وعبد الله بن رجاء المزني , قالا: حدثنا ابن جريج ، عن سليمان بن موسى ، عن الزهري ، عن عروة بن الزبير، عن عائشة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " ايما امراة نكحت بغير إذن وليها، فنكاحها باطل، فنكاحها باطل، فنكاحها باطل، فإن اصابها فلها المهر بما استحل من فرجها، فإن اشتجروا، فالسلطان ولي من لا ولي له" .
Mother of the Believers, Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any woman who marries without the permission of her guardian, her marriage is invalid, her marriage is invalid, her marriage is invalid. If the man has intercourse with her, then the woman will receive the dowry because the man has made use of her private part. And if there is a dispute among them, then whoever has no guardian, the ruler is her guardian."

Hadith Number 231

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: سمعت الزهري يحدث , عن عروة ، عن عائشة ، انها قالت: جاء عمي من الرضاعة افلح بن ابي القعيس يستاذن علي بعدما ضرب الحجاب، فلم آذن له، فلما جاء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم اخبرته , فقال:" إنه عمك، فاذني له" .
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: My foster uncle, Falah bin Abu Quays, came and sought permission to enter upon me. This was after the command of hijab had been revealed. I did not give him permission. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived and I informed him about this matter, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is your uncle, allow him permission."

Hadith Number 232

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مثله وزاد فيه، انها قالت: فقلت: يا رسول الله! إنما ارضعتني المراة ولم يرضعني الرجل، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" تربت يمينك , هو عمك فاذني له".
The same narration is also transmitted with another chain, however, in it these additional words are present: Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! A woman has breastfed me, a man has not breastfed me." So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May your hand be covered in dust, he is your uncle, allow him (to enter)."

Hadith Number 233

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا هشام بن عروة ، وكان من جيد ما يروي عن ابيه ، عن عائشة ، قالت: " تزوجني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وانا بنت ست سنين , او سبع سنين، وبنى بي وانا بنت تسع" .
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: "When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) married me, I was six years old (the narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words) or seven years old, and when I was sent to his house, I was nine years old."

Hadith Number 234

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا سعيد بن المرزبان ، عن عبد الرحمن بن الاسود ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة ، قالت: " تزوجني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وعلي حوف فما هو إلا ان تزوجني، فالقى علي الحياء" . قال سفيان: والحوف: ثياب من سيور تلبسه الاعراب ابناءهم.
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) married me, I was wearing a hauf (a specific type of rural garment). When he married me, I shrank into myself. Sufyan says: Hauf is a specific type of garment which villagers make their children wear.

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: وحفظته منه، وكان طويلا فحفظت منه هذا، حدثنا الزهري قال: اخبرني عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عتبة ، قال: سالت عائشة , فقلت: يا امه! اخبريني عن مرض رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الذي مات فيه، فقالت:" علق رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في مرضه الذي مات فيه ينفث كما ينفث آكل الزبيب، وكان يدور على نسائه، فلما ثقل واشتد وجعه استاذنهن في ان يكون عندي فاذن له، فدخل علي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو متوكئ على رجلين احدهما العباس بن عبد المطلب" ، قال عبيد الله: فحدثت به ابن العباس، فقال: لم تخبرك بالآخر؟ فقلت: لا، قال الآخر: علي بن ابي طالب.
Ubaydullah bin Abdullah narrates: I asked Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): I said, O my mother! Tell me about the illness of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during which he passed away. So Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: During the illness in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, he used to breathe in the manner of someone who eats raisins. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to visit all his wives. When his condition worsened and his pain increased, he sought permission from those women to stay with me, and they granted him permission. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to my house, and he was leaning on two men; one of them was our master Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him). Ubaydullah says: I narrated this tradition to our master Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), so he asked: Did Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) not tell you about the other man? I replied: No. He said: He was our master Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him).

Hadith Number 236

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن ابي خالد ، قال: سمعت الشعبي يحدث , عن مسروق ، قال: سمعت عائشة ، تقول: " قد خير رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نساءه فاخترنه، افكان ذلك طلاقا؟" .
Mother of the Believers, Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) gave his wives the option, so the wives chose him. Was this considered a divorce?

Hadith Number 237

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا عمرو ، عن عطاء ، عن عائشة ، انها قالت: " ما مات رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حتى احل له النساء" .
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) did not pass away until women were made lawful for him (i.e., he was permitted to marry as many women as he wished).

Hadith Number 238

حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثونا عن منصور بن عبد الرحمن ، عن امه ، عن عائشة ," ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اولم على بعض نسائه بشعير" . قال الحميدي: فوقفنا سفيان، فقال: لم اسمعه.
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) served barley in the wedding feast (walimah) after marrying one of his noble wives. Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) says: We objected to Sufyan regarding this, so he said: I have not heard this.
